I would not get the factory bed liner unless you are ok with it adding a significant amount of delay in your delivery. It took 4 months to get my truck and I think a good month of that was due to the bed liner. I’ve also heard the Pro Power is noisy, but I didn’t get that so I’m just relaying what I’ve heard.

Interesting, I guess I did read that they send them out. I guess I could just have it Line-Xed. What is noisy about the ProPower I wonder?

Hindsight, I would’ve had the liner done locally. I’m not sure in the pro power, but several people on here have said they always shut it off after they start the truck. Maybe Ford is working on resolving that too.

Several have said LineX does better, even my salesman. The inverter for the propower is right behind the driver seat. Some have complained it is a little loud. I personally didn't notice it on my test drives. I ordered mine on Dec 1 and right now just waiting to get that email with the dates.

The factory liner will take about 2 months extra or more on your build time, unless you have a reason for the 2k generator it's not worth it, I have it and use it to run some power tools on occasion, I don't think it's horrendously loud.

I did the same build with moon roof, lockable storage and bed utility.

I have the moon roof on my current truck and like the way it give the cab an open feel.
Lockable storage because I want somewhere to put misc straps and tools.
Bed utility - forget what this one actually is…

I also ordered the pro power. I don’t have excessive need for it but think it’s a really cool feature. May not use it much but at the worst it should be good for resale.

Correct the Linex covers more area and it's often reccomended over the Ford spray in.

We camp quite a bit so it will come in handy I think

I've actually heard the Ford liner is good, and have heard many issues with aftermarket liners with the sensors and not getting full coverage.

I opted to take it and wait a bit longer, I ordered end of October and it's in production now. YMMV I guess.

For what it is worth, I ordered the factory spray-on bed liner and it didn't seem to slow down my order at all. Linex is a great product, but I wanted everything done when it arrived at the dealer (and I like the added Ford logo that comes with the factory liner) ;)

You also might consider adding BlueCruise. That's some crazy technology and worth looking into.

Does this package not allow BlueCruise when it becomes available?

It does not. You have to have the active, instead of the assist.

I personally think it's very worth it, and will easily retain its value in resale.

No it does not. In 2021, you had to order the Ford Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 Prep Package if you wanted the BlueCruise hardware. Then you would pay extra to update the software to enable the option once it was available.

It is now available for 2022 so you just need to order Ford Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 and it will come with BlueCruise already loaded and ready to go.

Looks like how I would build mine ( in a few months ) only thing I am adding is Blue Cruise, mentioned above FTLBS. Just not sure on the color for me yet, contemplating Atlas Blue, or Stone Gray. Really wanted velocity blue, seems like I often get Gray or Red trucks. Atlas appears pretty nice too!

I didn't get Pro Power because I wanted the under seat storage. The Inverter takes up the under seat storage area when you get Pro Power.

I've heard this but I have both on my '22 order, afaik the pro power only takes up a small portion of it.

Yeah it seems pretty small to me. I camp alot so it will be handy.

Ah yes, I see that now.

I think I'll leave that off, $1600+ doesn't seem worth it for resale, and it's not a feature I'll use.

Build looks good to me other than bedliner delaying things (I hear the ford liner is really nice though) and tow package (I personally wouldn’t opt for it in a 402a As it seems like a rip off) because you already get tow tech and tow package doesn’t contain much more (maybe heavier sway bar and springs)….but then again if towing higher amounts you may want it
