Anyone getting a dash cam? I drive a lot and having one in my current car has been great, front and rear.

I did some research on the one that Ford offers and it doesn't seem too great. From what I've read, this is one of the best available right now:

Curious if the dealer (Granger) will install an aftermarket one like this before I pick up the truck? Would I mail it to them? Looking for a clean install without cables showing and hooked directly into the fusebox. What do you guys think?

I just ordered the 522xr on Black Friday. We will see how it goes. I've always had one too but my current one is half fried.

What was wrong with it? Supposedly this one is slightly better than the nextbase, but I've heard the nextbase is just great and this one is newer so I'm on the fence.

The buttons melted in the heat and I would get all kinds of glitches in very cold or very hot weather and the associated phone software was garbage. I have the next base now and so far it's great, software on the phone side is a bit weak.

They’re back in stock, I have one on the way. I won’t be able to confirm fitment until april when my Tremor arrives tho.

I run Viofo A119 V3 cameras in both mine and my wifes car. Quality is great, they have both paid for themselves many times over and I catch cool/dumb stuff all the time.

Running the Nextbase front and rear, really pleased with it, kind of regretting not installing permanently instead of running the 12v cords.

My current car has the 12V cords, that's why on this one I want them to install the cables under the trims where possible and have it permanently installed into the fuse box. Just a lot cleaner and better overall. Plan to do the same with the OBA and put it in the rear under seat storage.

Definitely a smart move. I'm waiting to see if the above quick pin option works on the 2021 then it's a no brainer for me anyways.

It's super easy to DIY the hardwire install.

Some chatter in reviews of the nextbase 522gw freezing in heat. Anyone have similar issue?
