But hey at least I can get xm radio for $6 a month

We have six dealerships in Nashville. Just this morning, I've dropped my truck of at the sixth dealership. That's six individual trips I've made to attempt to get my "as built" issues resolved.

On an unrelated note, my old Ram dealership contacted me about a recall for one of my sets of tires

You guys need to move, lol. I don't have the problems you guys are having. They will even come and pick up the truck if I needed them to even without blue tier. Heck they took me shopping one day while I was having the service done.

Most of the ones around me are bad as well. Argued with a salesman about a tremor being it’s own trim. He wouldn’t believe me.

Took a new 402a with a 73k sticker to them and got offered $66k for it because the market is softening. We were standing 15 feet away from a bronco that they had marked up $20k.

Well all I will say is if they can buy cheaper they will, then they will mark it up, I traded my fx4 for around 35k on this truck, it had 150k on it they then sold 3 days later for 40k and some change.

Is this about the front bumper trim pieces?

Apparently in the Chicago area not only do dealerships suck, all auto stores suck. I’ve contacted (attempted to at least) 14 different locations about ceramic coating or level kit installation. I’ve had exactly 2 even respond. All the others have ignored multiple emails and voicemails. Never had it to where businesses don’t even pick up the phone.

Can't wait for things to turn around and customers begin to have the upper hand.....

@KAD I took my truck to Chicago Auto Pros (worked with Dom) and got a paint correction and ceramic done-approx 2 weeks ago. I’m happy with the service and results so far. As for the a leveling kit. I bought the AS 2.5” kit and had Remington Auto in LZ do the install and alignment. I’ve put 4k on since and have had no issues. If you have any specific questions feel free to PM me. Good luck!

You had Remington do your level? Did you ask me about them? They did my level, align, rims and tires. Great guys. My new go to place a few miles from my house

So I ordered my tremor through granger-overall great experience, a few hiccups but nothing major and love what they are doing to the dealership model (blowing it up).

I had ordered/purchased a ‘22 F250 from a local Chicago dealership last year, sold boat so didn’t need diesel (why I got tremor).

This dealership was not fun at all during the process-from order to delivery; they meet every stereotype of a dealer out there.

I had to go in there today to get a refund for my unused ESP from the F250 I bought from them. They wouldn’t let me do this via email-it HAD to be in person.

Go in-they aren’t busy at all, and sit me down in the waiting room-for over 30 min while their finance ppl are just chatting with each other.

Finally get in the room-guy starts asking me why I drove to IA for a truck, why I didn’t like my F250, etc-I play it coy (I really just wanted out of there) and just say I found a good deal. He wouldn’t let it go and kept asking why I drove 4 hrs for an order so I tell him the specifics of what Granger is doing. He argues with me for 5 min basically calling me a liar and no dealership could do the granger model.

I about whipped out my invoice just to prove this dude wrong but restrained. After 15 min (on what should have been a 3 min ordeal) he finally finishes the paperwork. I tell him I got my truck from Granger faster than he could do a refund and that’s why I’ll never buy from a traditional dealership again. He asks “what do you mean you got your truck within 15 min of showing up at granger”

Tell him I spent over 5 hrs at his dealership working through trade and new truck paperwork, and did that exact process with Granger in 15 min-he again insinuates I’m making it up.

Glad to be done with those jokers -I hope Ford gets rid of the traditional dealership model asap-it makes car buying so awful.
