Bought a new 24 Tremor back in December. It had maybe a dozen miles on it. Drove it about 65 miles home in the pouring rain. Drove across town the next day and then when we got home noticed this -the tread on both of the back tires looks to be coming out in chunks. The front tires look perfect. They appear to be defective to me. They are the General Grabber 275/70/18. Has anyone seen this?

Take it back to your dealer for a possible warranty replacement.

Looks like you were doing some burnouts, or the first dozen miles before you got it were burnouts with what appears to be linear streaking. :ROFLMAO:

But yeah, definitely a question for the dealer to answer to.

i haven't done any burnouts. even if they dealership did one, i've never in my life seen a set of back tires affected like that from a burnout.

wtf how did you not notice that? Take them
Back!

Maybe they were playing with trail turn assist on a cheese grater.

well...you'd think. but it was raining the day we drove it around the block and just didn't look real close at the tires and when we picked it up a few days later it was coming a flood. i really think this happened during the few miles we've driven it.

That’s terrible man. General should actually study those tires.

Looks like they got hot. Any bits of rubber stuck to the insides of your fenders?

I wonder if they were like that when you bought it. Maybe they swapped them from another truck whose owner had abused them. Are the date codes the same on all 4 tires? I'd imagine they should be on a brand new truck.

no, not the same.....4124 on both of the front. 4024 on both of the back

That’s terrible looking. All four of my tires look like your front tire picture and it’s got 13,000 miles on them.

yeah.... i'm going to the dealer next week and hope to get this resolved.

I"m still thinking they've been spun. Maybe not by you, but it just looks like there's some linear tracking that seems consistent with burnouts. Obviously I could be wrong, but "def looks sus" as those darn kids of today might say. :ROFLMAO:
