Diode Dyamics Head lights

Anyone running the Elite Series in a 2023? If so any codes since the diode dynamics don't move up and down. Worried the self leveling would be an issue since they can't self level

What year Tremor? 402a? Dynamic lights? Does it throw any weird codes because the leveling isn't available? Compared to the stock lights, how is output?

I do have them, mine don’t completely function(I can’t get the low beam assist feature to work). I know of at least one other that has the same issue and we both had the oem projector lights.

I randomly get a “check headlamp assembly” code. But it’s not consistent. It does always happen right after start up so maybe it is associated with the lights not giving feedback to the truck that the calibration happened that the dynamic lights would do at startup.

I thought for the longest time that my issues were caused by some forscan change I made before I got the lights. But the other person I know having the same issue hasn’t done any forscan stuff.

The lights look and work great for the main functions. I just don’t have the extra low beam assist feature.

Exactly the feedback I was looking for. Thanks man. I talked to them 3 times. 3 different people said no codes or alerts and fully functional.

I’ve honestly been pretty disappointed with the support. It’s been over a year of trying to get it fixed.

They’ve sent me multiple new sets of harnesses, all of which didn’t work and for the life of me I can’t find a difference between them other than wire color on some of them.

I even have a whole second set of lights in my garage that they sent and that didn’t change the issue either.

I mean they’ve sent parts, but I Have to constantly reach out. They aren’t actively looking into the issue. Support just throws parts at the problem. They claim there are plenty of people who swapped from the oem projectors, but I have scoured the internet and Facebook and have only come across one other person that I know swapped from the projectors and they have my same issue.

While I love DD’s products, and like I said I really like these headlights, but I’m not impressed with how they have handled this product release and support.

Aren't they the exact same as ones I already have? Functionality wise. Self leveling, dynamic bending. And housing won't fit..

I’d guess it may be because they don’t expect many people with the top trim lights to want to change them.

What’s the draw of the DD offering over the 402A lights?

Also since you have a 23, take a look at the glare free mode with forscan. You may not want to change them out after doing that.

Draw? I have ad&d sometimes. Lol. Always looking for better options. Just not willing to spend 2500 and a product Not work seamlessly.

Id love to do forscan for glare free first. Just scared that Ford may void a warranty if they find out.

For the most part yes, identical.

I have them on my truck, I wanted the amber DRL. There's a few changes you need to make electrically and in Forscan but other than that it's a direct swap.
