Ditch lights and bars wiring...?

Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to wire these things up please?
I went a with Heretic10" light bar under the license plate and ditch lights.
Their wiring harnesses come pre-connected with a switch already installed to a 40a relay and 30a fuse and deutsch connector that goes to the bar.
I want the bar to aux 1 and the ditch lights to aux 2.
My gut says leave the relays on.
Can I just cut the switch side off then since the aux switch does that?
Sorry for being electricly challenged.

I’d personally leave the relays on or get a relay distribution panel if you plan on having additional accessories that will use relays.

Connect the switching wire from the harness directly to the desired aux switch wire.

Depends on the power draw and max current potential of your lights. If you're going to do big lights (or any other big power draw) later, I would use the higher current switches without relays when possible. My only relays are for my 50" bar and a solenoid for my winch (the compressor is an internal relay).

There is a thread about which wires go to which switches and what their current rating is.

Only curious, but why do you prefer switches over relays?

I’d love to learn more about why these harnesses come with 40amp relays and 25 or even 35amp fuses when the actual draw from the light is probably less than 10amps.
 
The six switches are wired to relays according to the manual. They top out at 15amps though.

I would be surprised if a pair of ditch lights or a 10” bar would overload 15 amps though.

But to play it safe, keep the 40 amp relay like mentioned above and splice the leg to the switch to the upfitter wire of choice.
 
TLDR: Don't over-complicate a circuit if there is no value in doing so.

Adding more relays adds more complexity, wire length, cost and places for water to sneak in to.

These switches are good up to their rated value. Regardless of which direction you go with it, make sure you do your wire length/size calculations with a baseline of 12V (or less) and not 13.2V.
