Door sill scuff protector up for grabs

Hey y’all! I ordered some “TREMOR” door sill grip from V-1 Cuts and don’t really like them. I was expecting a texture more like a bed liner and these are straight grip tape, like off a ladder tread or a skateboard. The quality is nice and the cuts are awesome but it’s just not for me. Have both front and rear. If someone wants to pay for shipping and a cup of coffee on the way to the post office they are yours. Web site is :

Pls, all of these that exist suck. The closest looking one is die cut which defeats the purpose of having a sill protector.

Funny enough, we've been looking into doing something like this for the new Bronco. I can definitely mention it to the team. If there's enough support behind it we could definitely get them cookin' !

my original plan was to put a piece of orange vinyl wrap on the sill then install the scuff protector over it so the orange shows through the cut out. If you found the right color it’d look pretty rad.

So here's the challenge, we can probably make them with a grip-tape like material. But, the problem is we couldn't do any custom design on them (which is what I think we all want). Our most likely option is to make them out of a high durability, non-slip vinyl. I'm talking the stuff we see in supermarket stores for way-finding. What's everyone's thoughts on something like this?

It wouldn't be a grip tape texture, but it would be a single piece (not die cut with letters like the ones above). And it would probably be 1 or 2 designs max. If there was an interest in it (though it would increase the price quite a bit), we could even make it reflective for increased night time visibility. There's no doubt limitations to what we can physically produce, but we also want to help out if there's a need that's not being filled yet. We'll probably make a poll on this soon to help iron out what we need to develop.

I'm all about it. Reflective or not, as long as we can get some design types and they don't suck (nothing from y'all does so we're good there) like the current options lol. Do a poll like you did with the stripes and see where we fall!

This. I think the topography design from the hood strips in those same colors, reflective orange, on the sills would be DOPE

Curious others thoughts to build off the idea on this thread.

I want to get the VIP sill protectors, but my truck is AMB. I was going to get the orange vinyl wrap to put under the protector so the Tremor really pops.

I just think the AMB+black+orange won’t look good.

Was looking at AMB touch up paint (aerosol can) and was thinking I could spray the protector AMB then only “see” the orange tremor.

My concern is the color on the protector won’t really be close to the truck color making it a waste.

Thoughts?

I think it would look great with the black scuff protector and orange showing through on an AMB. That’s exactly what I was planning initially but now I think I’m getting custom with orange Topo through VIP.

I absolutely love my super duty sill protectors-wish they made them for the tremor.
