How do you like the microstream? I was looking at these and the Olight warrior mini.

I like it. Checks all the boxes. Small, bright enough, rechargeable, cheap in case it's lost. I've been through a bunch of lights but this does what I need to do best. Oh it also has a double clip so you can attach to the brim of your hat which is handy in a pinch.

Here you go,

Iphone 14 PM
Apple Watch Ultra
Trayvax wallet
XDS 45
Duke Cannon lip stuff
Tremor key if in it with a Benchmade Mini Osborne or Carbon Mini Freak (play)
Superduty key if in it with a Benchmade Freak (work)

I should wear my wedding ring but just can't unless it's date night. Even tried wearing the rubber ones. Pretty sure if someone hits on me my wife will tell them to take me off her hands, so she doesn't mind.

First off is a disclaimer that the Apple Watch is my favorite piece of tech. It has made me a better husband and father, be more organized and health conscious. Paired with AirPods I use it more than my phone on a daily basis. All other tasks mainly reside on my iPad.

The good,
1.Long battery life, it's truly a 24 hour watch of constant use and then some. I don't use the always on feature on it or my phone or sleep with it on for sleep tracking.
2. Super tough, I work in the construction industry and spend half my time in the field with crews and this was my main reason to get it. It's a tank in size and strength. No screen protector needed with the sapphire glass. When playing outdoors it's just as strong as claimed. Speakers are loud and the mic seems to work better than the older watches. The new crown guard is killer for work and play.
3. 2000 nit screen is so amazing in the sun, same as the new iPhone pro. Once it activates it really is a game changer for outdoor use. I wish it would come on sooner and longer for both the phone and watch
4. Could be because it's new, but it seems to run apps and connect to things way faster. The Ford Pass app would take forever to boot up on my 7. Pretty much instant on the new one. Same when controlling all the home automation.

The bad,
1.It's big compared to the previous watches. I hit it on everything. It's pretty amazing how the body learns spacial awareness so I will come with time. The sharp edges have actually knocked off paint on our door jams.
2. The larger flat screen causes blinding flashes in the sun. When driving I have blinded myself plenty of times. When we were at lunch in Moab last weekend some people sitting across from us kept getting flashed by the suns reflection. My brother commented on it several times on our trip how much sun it would reflect and how concentrated it was.
3. The two bands I have suck balls. I have the Alpine loop and it's hard to put on and get the right fit. It gets dirty really fast and holds water. The Ocean Band that's in the pic is comfortable but there is two titanium clasps on the bottom of the band that scratch everything they touch. Working on a MacBook or laptop with the track pad it will scratch the crap out of it. I have had the Trail Band on order since launch and it still show back order until mid November. It should be the go to band for daily driving.

Like I said I use it for everything. It's my only alarm clock, music, podcasts, family and wife calendars are always displayed so I don't miss important tasks or duties. Quick text and browse email subject lines to see if I need to get back to my phone or iPad. Prescription reminders, start the truck, o2 and heart rate monitoring, Quick memos to myself, I would be lost without it and it is without a doubt the best Apple Watch made.

Look, it garbage and recycle day tomorrow. It's been on my wrist since 5:30 a.m. today and its at 75%

I previously had an apple watch, maybe a 4 or 5 I guess. I swapped to a Garmin Fenix 5 because I was afraid I would break it mountain biking, the battery sucked, and I got tired of all the notifications . I know that can be turned off but that's kind of the point of the smart watch. I ran the Fenix 5 for a couple years, then got a Fenix 6X Pro. Recently swapped back to a this "dumb" watch because I like the simplicity but the Ultra did catch my eye. Too bad they didn't offer an antireflective coating on the screen, maybe would make it tougher to read. Thanks for the write-up.

How often and for what do you use the pry tool? I tried carrying one for a while but never found a use for it.

More often than not, it is used for opening boxes or something lol. I do use it as a screw driver at times and to pry open/apart stuff at work when I am away from any other tools. If it was more of a hassle than just hanging from my key ring, I honestly probably wouldn't carry it. But there have been several times I was glad it was there.

You guys with your Tremor keys are killing me - :ROFLMAO: - mostly because I don't have mine (again) yet. And let's be honest, I rarely keep a vehicle long enough to post which key I have and for it to be an accurate post. Since 2020, I could post a 2020 Raptor key, 2020 Explorer ST key, 2021 Tremor key, 2021 Raptor key, and a 2022 Explorer ST key. And in a few weeks, I will be able to add a 2023 Tremor key. Oh, and I do have a '23 Raptor 37pp on order too, though I am not sure I'll buy that when it arrives. I get bored too easily and have to switch vehicles...

The more important part of this post is what's in the vehicle though! Due to the smaller console, I keep a Sig P238 in the Explorer. When I have a truck, I typically keep my Springfield Hellcat with me...

Until they offer “phone as a key” on the F-150 you have to have the key with you. Like every day you drive.
I thought for 23’ they where only offering the 37’s in the R version.

Lol this is just what's on my person.....what's in my truck is a different bag of chips.

No, you can still get a 37pp in the EB Raptor. However, there will be fewer of them available since the Rs will all be 37s.

I always wanted an orange Raptor, but I never had a G1, so I decided I wanted to finally rectify that. My '21 Raptor was black (didn't order that one - just a stock unit at a dealer), but I ordered the '23 in Code Orange. Similarly, I always wanted a '17 Raptor in Avalanche, but that never worked out, so I ordered an Avalanche Tremor!

That list would be too long, I usually keep at least a couple hundred rounds of various common caliber's, along with either a keltec sub 2k, colt ar, and or Steyr M9 with a vedder OWB holster, sometimes maybe even a kimber 10mm.

You keep a couple hundred rounds of ammo in the truck?

C'mon now, the man seems relatively civilized...its probably in loaded magazines and not just sitting in boxes.
I think it’s loose on the floorboard, pours out like sand when he opens the door
