What's new

Eibach 2.5’s?

Looks like it’s happening.
This is going to be very interesting when they hit they market.
This is awesome. It’s a bummer that major suspension companies haven’t fully taken the tremor pill yet (looking at you Bilstein, King and Fox). I know there are ways to make products from these companies work (like in my case) but it feels icky.

Hopefully in the next few years we’ll see a full set of support for the Tremor with tiered offerings.

has anyone confirmed this with Eibach?

Regardless of the product and before it actually hits the market, not many if any manufacturer will actually confirm and maybe even deny something about a potentially new product.

With that being said, I don’t think Eibach would display something like this at such an event if it’s not coming to market.

Argh I JUST bought my 2” 😅

Guys I don't know if you remember or not somewhere in this forum I told you when I talked with Eibach I said it would be great if you made a 2.5" the guy kinda snickered and said well you never know.

I do remember you posting.
In my opinion, it’s only natural for Eibach to offer a 2.5 since all of the main / major players already offers them.

Do you go off road a lot? If so, I’d wait.
I would guess $300-400, but the real question is how long till they get them in stock.

I have some updates for this thread:
So... there's a guy on the Ranger Forum who's testing a set for eibach. He has a 100% factory 4x4 ranger truck and has reported that they feel normal and are no rougher on potholes than the factory shocks. He also confirmed that he's able to blast over speed bumps and through whoops at 35 mph with little fan-fare and that with the Factory shocks this was not possible.

Eibach stated that the 2.5s shouldn't cost more than $600 over the 2.0s. So that's $150 more per shock, if that is true.

The market competitors are the Bilstein 6112s and the Fox 2.5s to some degree.

For normal use cases, the 2.0's are fine for wheel/tire combinations up to 32"
For 33" tires and larger the 2.5's will produce a tangible increase in control due to the weight of the wheel/tire combo. For those who do more with their truck's the 2.5's will offer better dampening and cooling at a disruptive price point. The rear shocks have reservoirs.

It looks like the initial release includes the on-truck adjustable shock/spring coilover assembly. We know the F150 and Ranger are at the front of the line for their test vehicles. I'm guessing that "that package" will land somewhere around $1700-$1800.

The product release was listed as 4th qtr 2025, but is subject to change.

No specific comments were made about the Tremor or Powerboost variations. But Eibach normally designs their shocks to handle a 0 to+2" suspension lift, so the tremor should fall into that category.

Shock Surplus also posted this 4 days ago as a preview:

Odds are they won't release Tremor specific, but if you don't need 3 inches of lift then you can expect to still gain 1.5" with the F150 model

And the website are up
