Hey Folks! Ethan from Hunt Ford here - I'm gonna try to introduce myself a little better than how I did at the Super Duty forum lol. I work as a social media manager for a dealer in Kentucky, and do not own an F-150 Tremor (would love to, just had to replace the wife's vehicle first; happy wife happy life). However, I do enjoy research and answering questions for you all and it helps me make better content for our customers in return.

With that said, @modified invited me over to this forum and I'd love to help out if I can especially since the 2022 order guides were just opened up.

Did they throw the 5.0 in as an engine option for MY22? Lol

God, I'd love that but no unfortunately. Even the PowerBoost would have been an interesting option with the ProPower capabilities. That truck would be factory ready for Overlanding.

Wishful thinking. That puts my mind at ease now to stick with a ‘21. What other colors are you seeing as options?

I really wanted to see the PowerBoost in the Raptor. That electric motor torque while waiting for the turbos to spool up would have been awesome. Likely battery weight and battery location stopped that. Would love to see it in the Tremor too.

While I think the ProPower stuff is cool, it's a bit gimmicky. Who is really going to let their turbo engine run for long periods of time? The TT 3.5 EB struggles with long idle time issues as it is. I could see it in emergencies (like the guy in TX who made the news), but I'd rather pull out my $900 Honda generator that will run most of the day on one tank of gas. I didn't even bother with the 2.2 kW in the Tremor. Saved myself weight, money and kept the under seat storage space.

It looks like they replaced Velocity Blue with Atlas Blue and dropped Lead Foot completely. Those are the only Tremor colors I can think of, in general they removed Kodiak Brown and Guard from the F-150 as well.

Fair enough, I really like the thought of buying a PowerBoost and then maybe getting a Zero Motorcross bike to keep in the bed and charge when heading from location to location. That would be the coolest (very expensive albeit) adventure rig I think I could come up with. As far as I'm aware, the pro-power doesn't require idling for most functionality but you'd have to be pretty cognizant of battery consumption so you don't strand yourself somewhere.

Now that would be a cool application of ProPower!

Hi Ethan! Welcome to the group.

I am working on a vehicle wrap. I found a shop that will print some of the vinyl graphics I want here locally. What I need is the hexadecimal codes for Ford Active Orange and the Grille color.

Is that possible?

I’m putting some graphic files together to print.

So this is on my short list

Also, I'm pretty sure I can tie my mobile 13KW battery into the Tremor's electrical to power the 2KW generator

I completely forgot about those brawleys, that it awesome.

A lot of people on our staff keep up with the EV scene since we've gotten a Mach-E in, the team over at Alpha are making some incredible vintage looking desert runners. That would be right up that alley too.

Edit: just saw that you're in nashville: if you don't have a preferred dealer already you should check us out - we're 45 minutes north of you right across the border. I'd love to get to do some real offroading videos once we get a Bronco in, if you wanted to meet up and tag along!

I might be able to get a hold of that if I can dig into the paint codes.

Yeah, I did a drive-bye a couple weeks ago to get some measurements for suspension. I'd be all about doing something with you guys. We'll be ordering a Bronco (likely the Everglades trim) in the spring so we'll discuss that too.

You know, if you're going to test out the Bronco, you may as well go to Windrock and take it up 22 :) And since my current truck is the only full sized truck to complete it, Of course, the likelihood of a Bronco being in "new" shape after that may not be ideal for resale.

If our Bronco Specialist can get his in time we’ll have a badlands in his own insurance so hopefully I can talk him into it 🤣

"I mean, Yeti did it in his full sized truck. How difficult can it be?"
