Will be purchasing this week and wondering if anyone has purchased one, why, and what they ended up deciding on?

Appreciate the help!

I don’t usually purchase warranties but I decided to purchase one back in April. I decided that with all of the new technologies in these trucks it would pay for itself if I had to use it. For reference I had two issues with my 2013 that probably would have been covered. Both of them were over $500 to fix. I ended up going with 7yr/100k miles, LED coverage, and the $200 deductible. Using my Ford pass points from the vehicle purchase my price from Granger was $1142. Pretty reasonable when compared to what these trucks cost

Did the exact same thing as TX_powercat. Just the cost of a headlight will pay for it.

With all the tech on these trucks as well as the potential manufacturing QC, I think it’s smart to get one personally. First time I’ve ever done so myself to be honest.

Yes the potential QC and supplier issues was another deciding factor for me as well.

thanks for the info. I am a newb at this but plan to have this truck for awhile. So I if selected 7 year 100,000 mile. Is that in addition to the manufactures 3 year, so 10 total years of warranty?

It would overlap the manufacturers warranty, at least that’s how mine is written. You would have 7/100,000 total

This is why I got it. I actually don't care that much about the engine items, usually all that is normal maintenance. It's a 2,000 headlight or tail light going out, or some shit like that, that worries me lol.

I got 7/120 (miles might be off but something like that) premium, from Granger, super good pricing

Contact Granger for ESP. They can’t be beat in terms of pricing. Literally $1400 cheaper than my POS local dealer for the exact same thing.
