Factory bed lighting request

Anyone that has the factory bed lighting on a 2021 or 2022, can you get under the bed and trace where the leds plug in to and snap a pic or 2?

Maybe even unplug the connector and snap a pic of it.

I’m wanting to add the bed lighting and trying to confirm what connector and harness they plug in to. Looking underneath mine , there are unused connectors on each side which look to be about where the factory leds would plug in to.

I see what your talking about in my truck as well. But I sort of get the impression from googling that it might plug into the tail lights.

Also noticed that the part says its not compatible with LED tail lights.

A buddy of mine has a 2018 Platinum and I crawled under his truck to take a look. The wire harness runs down and plugs in to the same spot which on my truck is an unused harness. Same on both sides.

But there may be more to it than just power and ground and that's what sounds like may be different from one model or year to the next.

If I could just get the factor lights to work off the button in the bed, I would be totally fine with that.

Found this video for a 3rd party install.

He mentioned that the ford kit with the button requires a software reprogram so the dealer might have to do it
