Factory Skid Plates

Anyone have a pic showing the factory skid plates? I currently have the RCI transmission, tcase and fuel tank skids on my '17, and am wondering if it is worth taking any of those off when I sell it to swap to the Tremor.

RCI's website says the same skid plates fit 2017 through present, so you should be good there. The '22 Tremor has a fiberboard-like transmission skid plate (probably more for aerodynamics) and a plastic gas tank skid plate, so yes, I'd replace them with RCI (fwiw, I did). The stock transfer case skid plate was fine. Make sure your '17 has a 36 gallon fuel tank as that's what the Tremor has, at least in '22.

For the 3.5 engine, is Ford still doing the composite oil pans with the large yellow drain plug? If so I think I will swap my Ronin drain plug over as well.

Yep. I am on my 3rd composite pan on my current truck

To clarify, the 22’ has a a 36 gallon tank? I am going to RCI to pick up my skids in person in a week or two and was going to scope out the gas tank skid. That tank is a giant plastic target thats right out there in the open.

I thought all Tremors got the 36 gal tank?

I wasnt quite sure since ive seen on spec sheets that the 22’-23’ tremors have a 26 gallon tank. Also, spoke with rci about their 23 and 35 gallon tanks maybe fitting on the tremor with the 26 gallon tank. I am, hopefully, going to have rci put the truck on their lift to see if the fuel tank skid mounts up on the tremor. That wont be for a week or two still. Unless someone has that skid on their tremor to confirm. Rci doesnt seem to have had a tremor in shop to test on
