I’ll check next time it hits over 100 which should be pretty soonIs this normal or is my screen going out? Notice the last zero in the 100 degree outside temp display.

When it's not 3 digits it looks fine.

It might be a software problem, not a screen problem. It's weird how it will read 2 digits fine in the same location.Interestingly this afternoon it was showing 100 and the last 0 and degree symbol was faded. Went to pickup a pizza this evening and it was reading 105 and none of the numbers or degree symbol was faded.
That's what I thought was interesting. Seems like the degree is in the same location whether it was 2 digits or 3 digits. It might be a software problem, not a screen problem. It's weird how it will read 2 digits fine in the same location.
You are right, I just noticed today it was 105 parked in the sun. It looked perfect. The temp went down to 98 after driving it. Only 100 even was faded looking. Glad it's not the screen with the parts problem going on right now.Mine does it only when it’s exactly at 100. Anything over or under and it looks fine.
Same. Did fine in anything other than 100 in both day and night mode. 100 triggered the faded look. You are right, I just noticed today it was 105 parked in the sun. It looked perfect. Yep. Same here. Also, the temp doesn’t seem to be calibrated to anything very close to the ambient temp. It runs very hot. My Ram did this when I first cranked it up. But after 10-15 mins I’d driving it would adjust to normally around 1 degree at max over the temp. This truck seems to run 4-6 degrees hotter than it truly is. Not a huge deal but I’d figure with all of the technology that’s out there that ford would have this detail down. My wife’s 21 Highlander is plait on usually too. So, it can be done.Mine looks great in all conditions on anything EXCEPT 100 degrees exactly. I get the same faded look. Gotta be a software issue - seems we all have it.
