February 2022 Order - NO VIN

Anyone on here having the same bad luck I am? Ordered 2/12/22 has yet to be picked up by ford and no VIN as of yet.. ordered black 402a no BO unleashed, no sun roof, with torsen front.

Anyone else having same issues with February order date or earlier?

Took me just shy of 4 months to get a VIN, not uncommon at all.

I ordered February 28. Oxford White 402A no moonroof, yes B&O Unleashed,and yes on the spray in bedliner . Wasn’t on the forums then and didn’t know of the potential delay’s for that option

Seems like Ford is prioritizing 401A. I ordered a 401A on 2/8, it went into production at the end of March and was then on chip delay for a couple of weeks. I received the “built” email on 4/27 and should be taking delivery around middle of May

If you don’t have a VIN yet you should be able to delete the spray in bedliner through your dealership. I ordered mine without the spray in bedliner and will get a LineX. The LineX will cost me $650 and if I remember correctly the factory spray in was just under $600

I ordered mine maybe within a week of that. Order confirmation in 4 days, silience for a month. Build in progress mid march (chip hold), thursday last week, built.

That’s crazy because my order was excepted on January 22 and I got my truck on Tuesday. Had the unleashed, torsion, 402A

Yeah, 402A, unleashed but I did get the spray in bed liner. I hear that may be the hold up. I’m not in any rush nor do I need this truck but it’s getting old…fast.

I ended up buying mine from a dealer but my order is still in place. I ordered 12-1, received a confirmation, then an email, "sorry for the delay" but that's it. No VIN, nothing...

Sure glad I was able to go this route but feel bad for everyone stuck in this mess.

I haven't even gotten a confirmation email, is that normal? I ordered Saturday 4/30 and just got to thinking about it after I saw someone else mention a confirmation email. Should I call the dealer in the AM?

I got my confirmation email the next day. I would call the dealer and make sure the order was actually placed. I’ve heard horror stories of dealers purposely waiting to place orders leading up to certain dates to help pad their numbers and the customer had been waiting for over a month at that point.

Thanks Wtx, that's what I was thinking. I'm gonna give him a ring in the morning, yah that would p!ss me off for sure. I'll let you know what I hear back my friend! Thanks again!

12/2/21 order, hoping tomorrow is the day I get a VIN. Deleted start/stop, APA, and removed the spray in two weeks ago. I do have basically every option on it though and it's a 402A.
