I would have gotten these and had them paint matched if I hadn't already bought Gatorback mud flaps. Mud flaps won't work with these and they were too expensive to toss out. What’s the opinions about installing fender flares. Yes or no?
That's exactly what I'd do with the one's in that pic.
Judging by the vast number of companies and choices out there, I'd say many disagree with you.Well, when you ask for opinions you will get the entire gamut, so here mine. Black fender flares (even OEM) look awful (even on the Raptor). Anything with pockets for the bolts look awful. The only way to have decent looking flares is for the bolts to not be visible and for the flare itself to be color matched to the body. The absolute worst look in the auto industry is black plastic around the wheel wells, and even some of the "premium" brands do it. Forces me to always buy the highest trim level to get color matched fender flares on some vehicles, but I hate the plastic black ones too much.
For sure, and I am glad they do. It would be boring if we all drove the same looking vehicles.Judging by the vast number of companies and choices out there, I'd say many disagree with you.
Not with stock tires, but show the flares well. If they wern't so expensive to custom paint and I didn't already have $500 in Gatorback mudflaps, I'd buy these. I did get the bed spoiler though.Basically no seems to be the general consensus. Just asking for thoughts. If anyone has pics please post to get a visual with stock tires
I got the rocker panels. My truck is black and I had them paint matched. They look like it came from the factory that way.contrary to the opinions above I love black flares on certain color trucks, white, like mine being the most. This has rocker panels as well too.View attachment 21275
Looks like they were going for the Raptor look with this setup. I'd be OK with those flares if they were color matched. I like the lights in them.
Exactly. Their Tremor R package includes a Roush supercharger and 37" BFGs on a 401A Tremor with the Coyote.Looks like they were going for the Raptor look with this setup. I'd be OK with those flares if they were color matched. I like the lights in them.
Here's mine, I hate rock chips on my fenders. I will probably have them paint matched later.Basically no seems to be the general consensus. Just asking for thoughts. If anyone has pics please post to get a visual with stock tires
