Fender Flares appear to be necessary (mud flaps don't last long for my use). I'm not a fan of the pocket look but I do appreciate what air design did with theirs. So who makes good quality fender flares that won't rub through, etc.?

I saw these for the 2020 and like them, so far but no idea who makes them.

Thanks for starting this thread. I’ve been thinking the exact same thing. Looking forward to responses. I think they look cool and if functional plus the added benefit of replacing mud-flaps .

I’d really like to see a set of the ‘21 Roush Fender flares on a Tremor. They look to have a low profile look.

Probably gonna get these myself

These look similar to the roush

I like those! Comparable in looks to the Bushwackers I just posted.
yeah, I need to take the time to look at the sensor locations while it's light out

I just installed the Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender flares. Had them painted too match. Will install Fox coilover lift when they come out and new wheels with at least +18 offset to fill the flares. Still deciding if I like the look. Will have to wait till all mods are done.

One of my concerns with fender flares is all the tech continuing to work. I see several state not to be used with 360 camera or active 2.0

Don't see how adding fender flares would do anything. They cover no sensors and the cameras give the driver a view. I have the 401a pkg and my dirt bike riding buddy has the 2020 Raptor with stock flares and we have no issues.

The 2020 doesn't have bluecruise and the 402A afaik has more sensors.

I could see why it has effects and could cause an issue, it changes the dimensions and widths of the truck, to which all the advanced systems are tailored, specifically bluecruise.

Not saying either which way is correct, just saying I have also seen what Yeti has on some of them saying not to use with blue cruise, and logically it makes sense to me, though not confirmed.

I personally do not rely on any sensors for my driving, the backup camera is great for hooking up my trailers. The bluecruise is a computer telling me how to drive. It is just something else to go wrong.

Actually, Bluecruise does the driving for you. For the cameras, I use them specifically for trail driving. With doing so many solo trips, it definitely helps as a spotter. When I was testing the 35X12s ET20, the camera view was definitely wonky. the tires created a shadow from blocking the DLoS. I'm guessing those extendafendas are far enough out to do the same thing. If I can find a functional flare that doesn't push out too far, that would be ideal. Unsure if that'll happen.

I guess that is a possibility, Sherrod F150's all have Flares with the 360 cameras and electronics. The only problem with them is the price tag. This is why I chose the 401a. The more electronics the more that can fail. Question is not IF but WHEN.

Yeah, I'm not really sure how that works. I think most customizers buy an XLT and modify that baseline. I could be wrong but I'm guessing the tech available on our trucks isn't available on the XLT. Now, what that tech is that a fender flare would screw up is beyond me.

@Yeti I was told by Ford that fender flares would not affect the sensors or the cameras unless they extended out past the line of sight of the camera, personally I haven't seen any that we've posted about that extended beyond the cameras.

I’m hoping you do so I can piggyback off your research….again!
