First Mod came in. Hey it's a start lol

Antenna.webp

Nice (y)

I have a stubby in the garage unopened — with antenna not hitting the garage door, I may opt to leave it on. I do like the antenna better than Gen 13.

May the carwash never rip it off — Knock on wood.

Nor the door keypad!

I've bent them on trails with snow heavy branches hanging down. Garage door or not, mine it coming off for sure.

But did it destroy the mount or just wreck the antenna?

Bent the antenna where the threads for the mount start. I hate taking them off at car washes too, so stubby is what I'll go with. I'll wait for BuiltRight to release theirs. Same with their dash mount.

They do have some 2021 stuff out now though:

I ordered their rear seat release a few days ago — why didn’t Ford make this improvement with the 2021 F150?

I just ordered this as well after trying to get it open for an hour lol TY

I just installed the driver side rear seat release. It’s simple things like the wheel-well liners and this rear seat release that make me think WTF Ford. It’s fun to tinker though.

That is a start of prob many

I'll just leave this page here..

Wait so the latch is already back there you just need the tether?
Effectively, yes. Look at the install video for a better view. You'll see why people buy them

and now that I've installed it, I'll probably never use it.
Better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. 👍
