First Mods

What are the first “must do” mods you guys did off the lot? My truck is on the train headed to the dealer. Was thinking about ordering a few things now to put on once I get home. Here’s what I’m thinking:
Wheel well liners (not sure of brand)
Husky floor mats
Interior LED kit (since it’s not stock anymore…)

Really appreciate the input.

Not sure about interior LEDs but 194/168 for License Plate…. Lots of floor mat options, I found these on Amazon, getting here tomorrow “

My truck is also on a railcar headed to the dealer. I already have a pile of parts for mods in my garage to put on as soon as I bring the truck home:

Husky rear wheel well liners
Bullet style stubby antenna
LED lights for the license plate
12" screen protector from OCD Plug
2.5" Auto Spring Level Kit
Rear seat latch (drivers side) from BuiltRight Industries
TuxMat floor mats
Front & Rear door sill scuff guards
Tailgate Inlay from VIP Auto Accessories

I've also set aside money to have bed Line-x'd, windows tinted, ceramic coated (inside and out) and possibly have the brake calipers painted if we can determine or come very close to the 'active orange' Tremor color.

AFE Cold Air Intake
Gorilla Black Lug Nuts
Putco Blade LED

Be careful on this forum... it's real easy to spend lots of money on mods... quick, fast and in a hurry. Lots of great ideas from the great minds on here.

Other than what has been listed...Definitely go to @VIPAutoAccessories site and search for the vehicle...buy it all.

Exciting times for you! Congratulations!

The first mods I did were:
- Rear wheel well liner
- Floor mats
- Short Antenna
- Console safe install
- Leveling kit

All of the above, definitely floor mats and wheel liners, I went with husky on both, a ceramic tint, bed liner and tonneau cover, good 3-4 inch drop hitch, and vent visors.

Gets expensive quickly so start off with the wheel liners, floor mats, and ceramic tint being that your in Texas, pick and choose from there. Above all it's yours, so make it what you want and have fun doing it.

be warned i got a set of those kolpin clamps and they suck. originally new of and liked quickfist clamps but thought these looked like they would mount better, but instead it takes everything you can to get your f@$king shovel out.

Definitely on the tint. I’m probably going to get the ceramic coating on the paint also. The sun here is pretty intense.

Ceramic inside and out? I’m pretty sure I’m going to do the paint on the outside, but I was unaware you could do the inside too. $3,000 is hefty, but this south texas sun is brutal. I don’t want the Tremor to get skin cancer.

There's a local shop here that provides a protective coating for all inside surfaces (leather, upholstery, carpet and plastic). It's a 3 year full interior coating that protects against dirt and UV rays. Not entirely sure it's a ceramic coat for the inside. But like Texas, the sun here in Louisiana is brutal and after spending more than 70K on this truck... I'd like to protect it for as long as I can. The name of the shop is Flawless custom Tint and Detail they are in Mandeville, LA ask for Heidi. Also, their prices are very reasonable... nowhere near the 3k mark.
