Fold Flat Storage

Does anyone know if you can easily remove the fold flat storage and if there’s carpet underneath it?

Its a video for an F250 but may be similar for the F150??

I remember reading somewhere (maybe a Facebook group) the fold flat storage can be removed by removing 2 nuts. There is carpet under and will be 2 bolts sticking up a bit but can be covered by the carpet. I think the guy took his out for a sub.

Why do you want to take yours out?

My backseat will be sporting car seats so I’d prefer to have the space to shove stuff underneath the seat. I’m wanting to get my floor mats ordered but can’t figure out what to get for the back. One cut out for the fold flat storage or one that isn’t.
