Ford Bronco Raptor Officially Confirmed, Coming in 2022

Ford promises it'll be the most powerful Bronco yet, but did not release any drivetrain details.

Not sure how I feel about this — to me a Raptor should always be a Raptor and not a package. There really should only be one Raptor. I feel the same way about the Tremor — it saddens me that they used the name in 2014 and slapped it later on the SuperDuty and Ranger.

Does sound pretty neat though — I do like “Warthog” though!

There is also a Ranger Raptor already, it's just not sold in the US.

100% agree. You water down the Raptor name by calling it as such across different model lines.

Now about the Bronco Sport…the marketing guys behind that need to be put out to pasture.

Ford is definitely swinging and missing on these approaches.

Raptor has always been a trim level. It's just that we've only seen it in North America on an F150, until now.

And go figure, my wife told me about it, today. Guess what we're getting, now?

It looks like Ford will officially unveil the new Bronco Raptor on January 24 at 6:00 AM EST! The Bronco Nation also teased us with a great shot of the Bronco Raptor flexing its suspension on some rocks to help get us even more excited about the upcoming announcement!
