Just saw this "Connected Navigation and SiriusXM with 360L are no longer available on 100A-501A where optional or included. Connected Navigation and SiriusXM® with 360L Removal is now required where applicable on these trims and will include a $200 credit on the window sticker" Has anyone been contacted by their Dealer? Is it offical? Does it apply to 402A Tremors?

Maybe they're just channeling my 1951 F1's tech package to counter the new retro land cruiser. Electric dual wiper blades..

Is SiriusXM 360L the actual satellite radio or is it some other connected feature like live gas prices or something like that? I would hope satellite radio is still on the trucks.

I'd be ok with this. Wont use either of those features. Spotify and GoogleMaps do me just fine.

Agreed, I wasn't planning on using either. But I could see it hurting resale value, and I know some people only listen to XM. You can always add XM I guess it just won't be integrated. Who knows

I would be so mad if I did not have sat radio for my road trips (where there is often no cell coverage).

But I could see it hurting resale value

This is my issue. I'll likely never use it (although factory navigation has been helpful in the past out in the National Forests where I'm unable to get reliable GPS on the phone), but I'm already way beyond my typical vehicle budget comfort level ordering one of these and the reason I'm okay with it is knowing that the price I'm getting it at allows a lot more wiggle room if I need to dump it compared to most people buying vehicles in the past year or two. If I risk losing future buyers due to these little features missing in a vehicle that has no excuse missing them in the 21st Century, that's a pretty big pill to swallow, even if the feature itself is minor to my daily use case.

Per dealer it

Yeah the radio and maps I said fine too. Could care less about those and I can install a radio if I ever really wanted it. The active assist is what bummed me out though.

Looking forward to lane centering on long trips and adaptive cruise. The more I e thought about it though the less those matter to me outside resale.

More importantly I waited too long to buy a truck and now my jeep is giving issues to where I want it gone and in a new vehicle. So stuck with how much am I willing to let go of just to speed this (maybe) along.

I just rolled 125k on my stock Tacoma clutch. Hoping it lasts until I get the truck.

That's why I panicked and found one on the lot. Ford has me down for August at best. Been waiting since October. Who knows what will be gone by then. Interest rates are climbing and used car and trade in values are going back down. All the local in transit Tremors coming to my area do not have Bluecruise, park assist, 2K generator or the Torsen. Not sure if this is the start of more cuts or if they where all ordered that way to get them faster.

Per the Order Guide just uploaded, this does not apply to 402A:
  • Added: Connected Navigation and SiriusXM® with 360L Removal (50X) – XLT (301A/302A), Lariat (500A/501A) and Tremor (400A/401A)
EDIT: To be fair, it also does not list 100A/101A, so not sure how comprehensive the update is.

It uses both satellite and the interweb for streaming + on-demand content. It would be nice if a more basic SiriusXM system, using satellite for streaming content, is still provided, but I think its unlikely.

Has anyone come across confirmation one way or another on whether navigation itself is going away entirely or just the subscription-based service?

I just hit 140k on clutch and fighting death wobble for 2nd time. Was planning to keep it for a

I'm awaiting the dealer to contact his regional rep and clarify all aspects (e.g., navigation, radio and active assist).

What’s concerning me is that my dealer hasn’t even reached out to delete active park assist. When I ask my sales person she tells me nothing has changed with my order based on supply issues at this point. Order confirmed 2/1 and no vin or date yet. I asked what their allocation looks like and where I’m at in the allocation but the guy who has that info is out until next month…

I went ahead and starting asking about MY2023s. I didn't put in an order till 4/2 so not expecting it any time soon any ways. Much more comes off and I'm going to buy a clunker to wait.

My feeling is (if rates continue to rise, though I don't see how they can much further..), we will start seeing supply gluts, odd as that may currently sound, albeit with a crapshoot on included options, emphasis on window stickers. If rates reverse, could see prices zoom with added inflation and inventory dwindling with continued supply chain and transit issues.

Housing is tumbling month over month too. At this point, it's sacrifice the dollar, or sacrifice the market. One last hoorah, or down we go.

I do think supply chains are on a downward spiral regardless, with situation in Shanghai and Eastern Europe. Neither are correctable overnight, and neither are accidental in the first place.

Been my thoughts as I've considered canceling until recently, with truck finally out of purgatory.

Talked with the Sales Manager today. My 402A Tremor has no changes. He told me the lower trim levels are losing Nav. Did get to see a customer ordered Antimatter Blue 402A Tremor. It was sweet! Hopefully I will make it thru the Friday 8 PM disappointment hour tomorrow.

Maybe it's because there is no Connected Built-In option available for XL? Gotta give the peasants something?

It doesn't eve look like the subscription based service is going away, just not being available on lower trims.

My WAG: Nobody is paying for the Connected Navigation after the trial expires. Like me they would have been a bit surprised to realize you had to pay to keep it, then would have just used Android Auto and gone about my life never looking at the Ford map again. They are all just using AA or ACP. Why keep building the system if no one is using it?

Connected Built-In Navigation will still have the built-in nav, even if the connected services go away. It would just slowly become obsolete without map updates or traffic info.
