I’m new to this truck having just come from a turd of a Tundra. The truck was a POS but one feature I liked about the Toyota app is it had a status page where it would show if my doors were locked or unlocked and if any windows were left open. I live in SoCal and I have kids so the windows are always down and sometimes they forget to roll them up. It was handy to be able to check status.

Does the Ford app have that capability?

I don't know if it does, but you can actually roll up the windows with the key fob when you get out of the vehicle.

Not that I’m aware of. I bought my Tremor about a month ago…love the Ford app, but you cannot see the status of your window that I’m aware of.

No. Does not show current state of windows, locks, or sunroof. In the app you can lock and unlock doors, no window control options.

Up with the key fob??? I know I can roll em down with the fob but
I haven't seen anything on rolling them up... What's the button procedure?

Yeah, I’d like to know how to use the fob to operate the windows too!

"Global Windows Forscan" should get you where you wanna go for the up/down with fob (if Ford didnt neuter that in the 24+s) AFAIK none of the 21-23s had it on by default but all that did the forscan change worked.

status would be nice...far too often i get paranoid and lock via the app which gives a green check that it worked. rather not have to lock it every time but possible workaround. not that it helps with the window thing.

In addition to the Tremor, I have a Toyota LC250, so I've used both Apps. The Toyota flashes a warning on the dash at shutdown that the windows are open. I sort of find it annoying since I'm usually parking in my garage or leave a window cracked open for the dogs; I know the d**n windows are open. I do like the status report on the Toyota app better than the Ford app since it actually tells you the vehicle is locked/unlocked, etc. Other than that, not much difference. The Ford app does remote start better than the Toyota app.

Mine wont even roll down. How do You get yours to go up ?

To make them go down, try hitting the “unlock” button and hold it on the second push. They will go down. Hitting “lock” twice on my 2025, they do NOT go back up.

Mine will go down with the double tap as stated above. Will not go up, which is far more important to me.

What is this forscan stuff? I’m new at this. Assume it’s something plugged into the OBD port to hack into computer?

Correct...just do a search for FORSCAN on the forum and a bunch of stuff will show up. You can also search "FORSCAN on a Ford F150" on YouTube. Lots on it.

I’m not so certain that you can roll them up in the newer F150 and I think it’s just the front windows only. Also seems like it’s in the sync screen in settings now but I could be wrong

Check this out to see some of what you can do, what's needed, and how to do it.
