I haven’t received a VIN either.Huh, ordered back in Feb. and have only ever received 2 emails: confirmation email the date of order and one a few months back telling me of shortages/constraints/etc. I dont even have a VIN yet, so maybe thats why I didnt get this one.
It all depends on the allocation the dealer you ordered from has. The dealer I ordered from just got in my exact truck last week, but this one was ordered back in Nov. I have seen others who ordered from Granger around the same time I ordered start to see their trucks delivered. Supposedly Granger gets ~90 F150s per month, whereas my dealer gets about 100 vehicles per month. Honestly I am kind of hoping that mine gets flipped to a '23 and gets a few "features" added back in, but I am skeptical that '23s will actually get anything back (maybe '24s will?). I just dont want to cancel and reorder in the future since I should have price protection and I had a PCO when I ordered.Almost five months to the day from when I order before being schedule if that is any consolation.
I ordered in April from Granger. Haven’t received a VIN yet but Chip believes it will still be built as a 22. I’m ok waiting but am more concerned that 23’s will lose more features and cost more.I don’t expect to be scheduled anytime soon. In reality It will probably be like @b-real said and get turned into a 2023 MY which I’m fine with.
Received my order confirmation 11/11/21. Vehicle built e-mail July 1, 2022. Delivery scheduled end of July. Luckily I went and found a loaded Leadfoot on a lot in January.. this shit is ridiculous. Has anyone else seen build times this long?Ordered my Tremor 4/30/2022. Have not been scheduled yet but did receive this email today.
I have a February order and didn't get this e-mail either. My optimism is taking it as a sign that we're up on deck in the scheduling system.Huh, ordered back in Feb. and have only ever received 2 emails: confirmation email the date of order and one a few months back telling me of shortages/constraints/etc. I dont even have a VIN yet, so maybe thats why I didnt get this one.
Got a very similar email, I'm actually surprised it's not exactly the same wording. I Just posted about it in another thread. But here it is...Ordered my Tremor 4/30/2022. Have not been scheduled yet but did receive this email today.
I think you have a variation because you’ve gotten a VIN and build week. I got the original email above. Either way it’s a lack of communication on the part of FMC and their dealer network (not all dealers, some are better than others.)Got a very similar email, I'm actually surprised it's not exactly the same wording. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like my build week (which was 6/20, blend date of 6/26) means much these days... My window sticker still shows the 6/26 blend date and no info or update from Ford. Oh well, I sure hope this $70k truck holds it's value, seeing that a bunch of us are going to be buying them "brand new" at "full price" after the 2023s have already released. Guess we'll see.I think you have a variation because you’ve gotten a VIN and build week. I got the original email above. We Are in the same boat - My window sticker has 6/26 Blend date and no info or update from Ford. likely the same build based on the referenced priceUnfortunately, it doesn't seem like my build week (which was 6/20, blend date of 6/26) means much these days... I saw on the weekly Long McArthur Ford weekly update that Ford plans on building 44,250 F-150's in September and doesn't expect to carry anything into 23. If that's the case, we all should see a build date pretty soon.I don’t expect to be scheduled anytime soon. Just got mine, too. Almost the same truck except no ProPower on mine.Just received my scheduled for production email. Build week of August 15, 2022. AMB, 402A, Torsen, Pro Power 2.0.
