Saw these today on the front brake lines. I don’t know if it’s a shipping thing, but I’ll check it out tomorrow.

I saw a few underneath my truck when I did the oil change. Everything was strapped correctly and properly anchored so the bands didn't provide any additional function. I think they simply forgot to cut off the rubber band when they removed it from the packaging.
