Searched the forum to see if anyone has used Fox coil overs to level their Tremor, couldn't find anything. From what I've read Fox is supposed to have the most comfortable ride on the pavement. My Tremor sees very little off pavement driving. A comment I saw on Stage 3 said Fox wasn't for the Tremor, coil overs won't actually lift the truck. I thought I read on the forum that someone had used the Fox coil overs to level their Tremor but couldn't find it. Wanted the threaded coil overs to be able to adjust them on the truck. Was also looking at the Eibach Stage 2 Pro Truck setup. Looking to raise the front 1.5 to 2 inches.

Just installed the Eibach stage 2 pro front coil overs and rear reservoirs. Used the fronts to go up 2”. Rake is now much more acceptable

Only had em for a day but the ride is fantastic. Planted. No more body roll. This should be the factory ride. FWIW, both rear shocks were shot. Terrible rebound. Only 28,000 miles.

For reference, tires are 285/75 on factory wheels. Wild peak 4s

With the fox setup you would only get between .5" and 1" of lift up front, they don't provide much lift because these are already lifted from your average f150. I've also heard mixed reviews on the fox 2.0 but several are running the snap ring Foxes and seem to be ok with them.

I guess the best solution without spending a small fortune on it is the Eibach Stage 2 set up. Definitely don't want a worse ride on the street. Anyone know what the spring rating is on the Eibachs and how it compares to the factory springs? Thanks for the info.

No clue what the rate is. Or how it compares to OEM. Just know it’s better. This is how a $70K truck should come off the line.

Your eibach kit is rated for up to 3” so you must have it maxed out for 2” lift on Tremor yet still feels better than stock, interesting. I’ve considered the snap ring eibach pro truck strut with 2.7” coil spring.

Yes, at full span to get the 2".

And yes, rides better than stock. Utilizing the rear reservoirs.

Its just a more capable combo than the OEM flavor. Everyone will agree the factory ride is very smooth, but suffers from:

1) Body roll
2) Floaty rear end
3) Overly soft shocks (bouncy rebound)

The Eibach kit (along with others I would assume), solves all of the above. Its a more planted ride, but without sacrificing ride quality. Whatever spring rate and shock dampening combo Eibach uses is (IMO) perfect for an F150 that sees highway time, but also wants off road capability.

@FaKtor34 or anyone, have you ever heard why the eibach pro truck front coilovers (E86-35-035-01-20) aren't listed by Eibach for the Tremor on their website? (only show pro truck strut and 2.7" spring as compatible)

No when I called and talked to them the only thing I got out of them was they purposely did the snap ring with the 2.7" coil to ensure they would be able to get 2.5" of lift, so I'm assuming and those in the military know what happens when you assume sometimes, but that because you can't get 2.5" of lift they don't list them. With that coil over to me the sweet spot and where I would want them set would be between 1.5 and 1.75" of lift on the front. That still gives you lift and doesn't max out the spring. That's why this will be the setup I use. Which will meet my needs for around here. While the icon and halos are nice I just don't see the price being worth the extra for my personal use, I do most of what I need without , although a few places the lift and rock sliders would definitely keep me less worried.

Yes if you don't want the full 2.5" of lift the snap rings can be set at the lower height which would take some of the tension off the spring, I thing the packaged set has a different spring all together which may be how the ride stays comfortable at max lift.

Eibach says only to use 2.7” coil on lowest snap setting SO if I want a 2” lift from Eibach, I'm either maxing out preload on packaged set or laying sandbags inside my skidplate?

I ordered both the Eibach pro truck packaged kit and tremor-approved struts/coils, ill measure everything and make a post late next week for my fellow stat nerds. (Amazon free returns 🤷‍♂️ 😆)

Lol yes please keep us informed. There are a few who have used the kit eibach approved for the Tremor and they used the other settings on the snap ring one, if I remember one guy had almost 3" of lift with it.

Everyone’s going to have their preference, but imo, much over 2” and these trucks look overly nose high. Even with 35s, 2” up leaves a nice wheel well gap. 2.5 and it starts to look lifted.

I think this explains the popularity of the AS 2.3” puck level. That 2-2.25 range is Goldilocks.

Now if a lifted and fully leveled (no rake) look is what you want, then yes, going between 2.5 and 3 is needed.

I can say that just putting the rear eibach pro-truck resi on, I have noticed less body roll, definitely more controlled rear, and still seems to ride just as nice. This has me contemplating the full front coils set at 1.25 to 1.5 in. I'm currently running a 1.5" spacer. One of the reasons I bought this truck was the smooth off-road ride. I don't want to lose that, but I do spend 85% on-road of course with a load.

Another thing I'm trying to figure out is the next tire to move to as I'm at 30K. But that is a different thread :)

Eibach coils up front, rear res in back. 285/75 on factory wheels. Perfect fit imo. No rub

FW4s on the tires. Quiet! Smooth. Enjoying em.

Yes, Fox 2.0 threaded coil-overs will provide 1-2" of lift (need to select the correct coil-overs). Ride is fairly close to stock.

None. I wish they did a little. But all tucked in. Especially since I added RC sport flares since that photo.
Do you have pics? Can you bolt mud flaps to them?

This is my current truck. But If i add flares to the tremor I'll likely color match them this time.
