- 2022 Ford F-150 Tremor
If you’re like me, anytime I get a new truck, which isn’t often, I begin to notice all the other models that are similar. This is especially the case since the Tremor is in such short supply and that are considerably fewer Tremor models on the road compared to the other models. So, I always scope out new Fords to see if they are Tremors or not. I want to see what all mods they’ve done etc.
Well, today at a local BBQ joint, I spied a new F-150 (still with temporary tag) that had the same exhaust set up with rear tow hooks included. But, it had no tremor badging— the tailgate has the “eco-boost” badge where the tenor badge is. And there were what I believe are likely after market “4X4” stickers where the Tremor or “FX4” stickers go. It also had F-150 XLT badging on the front 1/4 panels. So everything points to a XLT package. But, it had the same hood as a Tremor and the interior looked very similar but didn’t have the orange piping or “tremor” stitched into the seats. It also appeared to have the smash plate on the front but I didn’t want to lurk too much. The wheels were similar to the attempt, but were not the same. Same color though.
I don’t know all of the configurations of the F-150, I’ve tried to find some of them but it seems pretty complicated with all the different levels etc. So, I’ll pose the question, are there other trims that have some of the same features of the Tremor? Just curious more than anything.
