I recently installed an auto spring 2 inch spacer lift on my 2024 tremor which only has 1000 miles on it and since the install, I have noticed a metal on metal clunk noise that can be felt through the steering wheel when driving low to moderate speed over small bumps and washboard type terrain. Does anybody have any experience with this? Is this related to the increased angle imposed on the steering rack?

All the bolts that were removed and reinstalled during the install were re-tightened with the vehicles weight on the suspension. I will also add that this spacer gave me more like 2.5 to 2.75 inches of lift.

You shouldn’t be having any problems with it. I will say anything over 2.5 you should do upper control arms which at that point it would of been better to do coil overs vs spacer

My understanding is that with the F150’s IWE system the CV axles do not turn when in 2wd. I am getting the clunk in 2WD and in 4WD at low speed and it is felt in the steering wheel.

Could be bump steer due to increased steering linkage angles....does the wheel jar in either direction when the noise occurs?
