Hi all. I've been enjoying my 2022 tremor for about 6 months now. Not long after taking delivery I swapped out the OEM rear shocks for Vertex 2.5 adjustable rear shocks from RC. I've been quite happy with that change. I knew the front end would be a bit more complicated so I thought to hold off for a while before diving back in.

My hopes are the following:
1 - Ideally I'd like to use Vertex for the front, if only to match the rear.
2a - I'm not looking for a significant lift up front, I'd like to avoid dealing with any squat when moving heavy loads.
2b - I actually don't mind the rake, if the rake is reduced slightly I'd be totally fine with it. Don't need t he truck to be completely level.
3 - If I get some improvement on ride quality without significantly changing the stance then I would be thrilled.
4 - I do drive around DC in the truck and have to park in some garages, hence not looking to raise overall height by much or at all.

I was wondering if folks on the forum can advise me on which of these two would suit my needs better? I'm leaning towards the 2" option. I did note that RC still doesn't consider these two products to be compatible with the 22 Tremor, though I believe other folks on this forum have used them already. Any advice to guide my search would be greatly appreciated!!

I went with the 2" Vertex adjustable coilovers: https://www.roughcountry.com/ford-vertex-coilovers-689012.html?find=2022-ford-f-150-4wd-852483

The result was about a 1.5" lift on the front end, reducing the factory rake by a decent amount but still keeping some of it to allow for some squatting in the rear when under load. After install the wheel well height difference between the front and rear was something like 2".

I did not perform the install myself. The shop quoted about 4.5 hours of work including realignment. The alignment was needed because the shop took off the upper control arm during the install, I think this had something to do with allowing the reservoir and cable to fit properly.

I won't be able to do much driver until the weekend. So far I'm already liking the new stance of the vehicle. I was hoping for a reduced rake but not completely level and thats what I ended up with. So far I've driven with these set to 4 out of 8 upfront and 5 out of 8 in the rear.

More pictures to come once weather improves.

I've been looking at these, as well. They seem to be one of the only adjustable damping options for 21+ trucks.

Have you had a chance to play with the damping adjustment further? I'm mostly looking for comfort/ride quality improvements on the highway. Don't care about lifting much.

I'm looking at getting the 3" version to hopefully get 2.5 out of it, i currently have the RC front coils but without the monotube. I have the vertex rears and really like them.

Asked RC and they said they hadn't tested that fitment yet. I'm thinking about just going for it. I got some offset crash bars from fabtech that should provide a little more clearance so if i get less than 2.5 my 295/70/18 baja should still fit fine.

Someone on the Gen14 FB group posted he had the 3" vertex on his regular F-150 and they were set to 4" and gave it the CS and rode like crap. He ended up brining it back down to 3" and it looked and rode better. Tried finding the post but couldn't. But if that's true there is some play in the treads. They are not internal bypass so it won't matter where the piston is in the stroke.

There is a guy that installed them on a Tremor, wish I could find the thread. He liked them but his installer said the needed to remove the UCA to route the piggyback or gain clearance or something. It they do fit apparently. If I can find the thread I’ll post a link.
