I've been having uneven rubbing after installing 35s amd it's been bugging the hell out of me. Finally had a chance to measure things and it looks like my front right wheel is set about a quarter inch forward fro. The left. The body panels and bumper all look to be lined up right. Confirmed the quarter inch on the front and back of each wheel as well. When I had my level installed it had it aligned and was told there were no issues. I believe the wheels are lined up right, but would that have possibly moved one wheel forward or back? Any chance this is a factory defect? Also, is this something another alignment can fix?

That's odd. I always think vehicles should be squared, how I'm imagining what you're saying is that it's a parallelogram. That doesn't seem like a good thing, to me.
Sbc makes some toys that allow you to place your wheel dang near anywhere you want. If the rears are also offset, that's a while different issue.

That's a good way to describe it. They roll straight but aren't square. Good call on checking the rears. I'll check that today.

Just checked and it looks like the rears line up properly. They were about a half inch off at first until I realized it wasn't on level ground lol.

Like @Yeti said SPC might be your best option, however I would get a second opinion on the alignment from a different shop. Just for piece of mind and not to prematurely wear the tires.

I plan to have it checked this week.

Talked to an alignment shop today and was told the caster being offset like that was actually pretty normal. It helps counteract the crown in the road to keep the wheels tracking straight. So long as the truck drives straight without any constant input there shouldn't be a problem. Has anyone else heard or experienced something similar? It sounds logical enough, and my truck doesn't pull to either side.

Never heard that one before, "everyone running to their truck with a tape measure after reading this" guess I'll be checking that just for curiosity's sake in the near future.

Yeah, I've heard of it but didn't know what they did to make that a thing. I always specifically ask for mine to be squared off because while most people generally ride in the right lane, I'm generally passing them in the left.
