2016 Subaru Legacy
Ordered: Feb 11th
Received VIN/Production date of 8/22/2022 - mid July.
Notified that production pushed back to 8/29/2022 on (8/3)
Just notified last night: Production pushed back to 9/12/2022

This whole process is an illusion.

I'm just going to disengage like I did several months ago when I had NO idea when I would receive ANY positieve information on this damn process.

I understand the supply chain issues and all that but, When Ford gives you a date and continually changes it - my confidence is broken that any future date will hold.

Going to stop visiting this site, stop watching vids on YouTube of Tremors, etc. Just not good for my mental health. (I know I sound like a 6 year old but I've been really patient so far).

Disillusioned in Eastern WA

Your experience is not out of the ordinary, unfortunately.

I originally ordered July 16th of 2021. I finally took delivery July 22nd of 2022. Hang in there

Thanks, I just need to get in a different mode than - ooh, just around the corner!

Your not alone. I'm right with you on the frustration with this entire process.

Ordered/Confirmed: 12/18/21
Received VIN: 6/3/22 with a production date of 8/22/22.
Changes from original production date so far; 8/29/22, 9/5/22, and 9/19/22.

I think there's an official psychological condition for this but we haven't assigned it a name yet. You're in good company here. Unfortunately, the closer your truck gets to being at the dealership, the more anxious you will become.

Oh, I can tell you what it's called...Honestly! "First World Problems!" ;)
