I’m very happy to have found this forum! I recently bought a new F-150 Tremor in lead foot and so far loving it. I live south of Houston, TX. Only mods so far are factory rear wheel well liners, stubby antennae, and bed cover, and center console safe/vault. Merry Christmas everyone!

Thank you! So, about the big shield. It appears that no one makes one yet for the Tremor hood. I didn’t know when I ordered this one that it wouldn’t fit right since it was for a regular F150. I was going to send it back but after playing around with it I decided to make it work. Turned out pretty nice. It’s a WeatherTech low profile hood protector, part #55194. Unless you get up really close and stare you wouldn’t really notice. It’s solid and I highly recommend but to do it over again I would have been patient and waited for one specifically for the Tremor’s unique hood.

How did you have to modify it to fit? Was it simple or just a matter of modifications to the support locations?

So the Tremor F150 is somewhat wider that a regular F150. Therefore, the hood is wider. The big shield for the regular F150’s come from the manufacturer specifically with the measurements and contours of that hood. If you can see in the pics the WeatherTech on my truck is not wide enough to go from side to side of the hood. It’s really not that noticeable and is minimal. As for the contours in the Tremor’s hood, to make it work, I used more 3m auto double sided tape to make sure it bonded to the contours. It was super solid to begin with but there were some gaps where the contours were and the bug shield couldn’t make contact with the hood.

There is a manufacturer called Console Vault that is officially licensed by Ford. Right now they are having a sale. I HIGHLY recommend this safe/vault especially if you carry a firearm and/or have any valuables. See attached pics.

Excellent thank you, I saw some Ford OEM bug shields with brackets, I think that's the route I want vs the stick on taped versions.

Let us know how it goes. Would love to see how it turns out. 👍

Thank you for the additional pics and feedback! Much appreciated

Congrats and welcome! I was not considering a bug shield but seeing how it looks I just might!

It takes up the entire console, right?
