2024 Tremor
Question:
My new 2024 has the headlight adjusters on all four wheels. When they go from low beam to high they fade up and down. They don't just "click/jump" up and down.
Does this mean they are adaptive? The window sticker just says "LED Headlights." If they are adaptive, then I want to enable the glare free. Can anyone help confirm?

What package is your truck. 402A or 401A? The 402 you can make them glare free with the use of forscan.

Unfortunately, no known Glare Free option for '24s, and the Tremors didn't get the LED protectors that would have traditionally allowed for them anyway.

That sucks, my 22 has them and I love the glarefree

Regardless of the package chosen, no 2024 TREMOR comes with the high end projector / adaptive driving headlights that one could get in the 402A package on a 2021-2023 TREMOR.

Maybe this will change for the 2025 TREMOR.

So why do they put headlight adjusters on the four wheels? ... and they fade/move up and down.

I believe the arms/sensors at the 4 corners are for the on board scales. It has been a while since I looked into them but that sounds familiar.

EDIT: moving up and down is simply the self-leveling for the headlights; the projectors also move side to side (test at startup). In the past, there were only height sensors on one side for headlight leveling, while all 4 corners meant CCS and/or on board sensors (again, I could be wrong).

Do they turn when you move the wheel?
Apparently not.

Based on what everyone is saying, and further investigation, I guess they are regular lights.
I"m still curious what the sensors at the wheels are doing? I don't have scales, and apparently no fancy lights.

Also, thank you everyone for your responses.

That's a good question. I looked back, and for '21-23 4 lever sensors were tied to on-board scales, and only 2 sensors on the drivers side were provided if only needed for headlight leveling (glare free or not). There's some light reading here directed to on-board scales specifically, but lots of discussion of the 4 sensors and purpose; they used to all go to a VDM for processing for on-board scales.

Since on-board scales were not even an option for Tremors until '24, someone else with a 402A (and no on-board scale option) should check and see if they have the 4 lever sensors as well. May be Ford just including them on all 402A to better streamline production. I haven't seen any discussion on what additional functionality they might offer for '24+.

The removal of the top tier headlight option on the 2024 Tremor is the biggest disappointment in my opinion, plus it costs more than say my 2022 that has them. I don't know what Ford was thinking.

Not about the customer for sure.

More money with less product. Corporate 101.

And y'all are right. Glarefree is absolutely awesome.
