Just wanted to double check before ordering from Ford Parts. The square 402 tow hooks (in ford orange) would install fine on a 401 bumper system with factory round hooks? So sad that the 25' comes as black ;-(

There is a video on youtube where a guy puts those on a 401 bumper, and if I recall the plastic shrouds did not fit over them easily so he left them off, but it didnt look bad.

Don't believe they are a direct fit with the 401.

I put them on my 2023, no issues. I opted not to install the surround and it looks fine that way. A little less room to get things through them but they still function fine. I have a dune flag mount that requires force to install/remove but oh well.

Thanks, finding two different Ford part numbers for round hooks, both orange. One lists 2021-2025 the other lists as 2025 Tremor. Is this a difference in the actual colour (color ;-) of the orange?

My Tow Hooks Ride fine in Black on my 24 Tremor !

I took the black square hooks off of my 24 and painted them electric spice. When I find time I’m going to do the rears to match. Factory orange tow hooks were on national back order so I went this route. I actually like this color better and the cost was much less.
