2021 F-150 Tremor

This kit is priced very attractive. I believe it would be an improvement over factory and give me 5" inches of total lift since this kit is for a regular F-150 and we are 1" inch higher from the factory. I know BDS says all of their lifts do not work with a Tremor but there are plenty of F-150 Tremor's out there including our own Fozzy that I beleive they work fine. If I can get this kist from 1 website for $2060 out the door and figure another $1000-$1200 for install Id be happy.

Here is the link for the kit....

I want some opinions on which kit do go with for a 6" lift, thank you!

Trying to figure out if I need the 4 inch rear block or 3 inch rear block.
I want it to look more leveled when I'm not towing.
Its an extra $140 for the 4 inch block which I don't mind paying for if it makes it look more leveled but I don't want to have the rear lifted/raked higher by the extra 1"

Anyone know which one to go with to have the more leveled stance?

The only difference I can see between these 2 kits is what I marked in green.
The one marked in green has reservoirs and comes with a spring around the shock. The other kit without the spring using the stock spring.
The price difference between the 2 kits is $1,100.
I’m thinking to save the $1,100.

Feel free to give your opinion, thanks.

This is very interesting. I have the Performance Elite 6" kit and you choose between a 4" or 5" rear block. The PE shocks were back ordered so I got the puck installed for 7" of lift. I plan on running the PE shocks at 7" as well when I install them. I hope to find time over the Christmas break to get them on. Truck has 0.5" of rake set up like this. Shock set at 6" would net you 1.5" of rake with an empty bed and 5" rear block. The Tremors soft springs it doesn't take much to settle the springs 2". 500 lbs. tongue weight settles it 2" without air bags. So the SR kit must run a tad shorter. The CO kits comes with a 5" block and you can opt for the 4".

If you go with the cheaper kit you commit to using your stock spring as you say. Don’t forget to account for your time or the cost to have someone else remove the spring from the OEM unit and install it on this unit. Could be a couple hours or a couple hundred by the time you’re done with it.

So it seems like according to your #’s I’d better get the 4 block which would put me at .5 rake which I’m good with, thanks.

Ok, so you’re saying my $1100 difference could be more like a $900-$800 difference after stock spring swap labor. I’m still good with that as opposed to paying that extra $. The BDS rep I spoke to on the phone yesterday said for my uses which are light trail and road I’m more than good with the snap ring coil over kit.

I don't know how the the snap ring kit will actually lift the front. It seems weird they offer the 4-5" blocks for the other kits instead of the 3-4" for the SR kit. Have you decide what tire and wheel package you are going with?

I just had my wheels put on a few days ago, I like em. My tires are the same 35/12.50 Yoko G003 MT’s that I installed back in March, now they are on my Fuel 18.9 -12 off set wheels.

At this point I’ve decided to go with either of these two, see pics and link.

I’m thinking the coil over is more than enough but was wondering about whether I would ever want to adjust on my own in which case the Performance Elite would be the way to go. I’m actually considering the orange Fox Performance Elite sticker as a factor, so dumb.

Talk into one or the other so I can get check out my cart and get back to my life lol!

I love the look of those tires, but you may get "skipped leg day" comments with a 6"
I’ve seen quite a few and think they look more like abbreviated leg workout instead of skipping all together but no doubt 37’s fill in nicer.

I thought the same thing. You can't do 35s with a 6"... Find some nice 37s, and that should do the trick!
Im already invested in my 35’s and don’t want even worse fuel economy, power loss and invest in re-gearing. I’ll be happy with how they look with 6” lift.

Or wider wheel and offset.

I don't feel any need to re-gear with 37's. Power is fine, but I don't tow anything over 7K and I don't think re-gearing would help with fuel milage much with the 10 speed. I think 7th gear is 1-1. Plus you don't buy a truck worried about fuel milage and once you lift it, it's smiles per mile and who cares what fuel costs or how much you use. But if you wonder, my cumulative average since lifted is 12 MPG. That's towing the boat and SxS all over this summer. 7-8 with the boat. 11-12 with the side by sides and 13-14 City/HWY. Maybe 1 MPG lower than my EcoBoosts with 35's. I drive it like I stole it and most freeway around here are 80 MPH. Probably could get 16 or better if I went 65.

If re-gearing is a nonissue with that type of economy I’ll jump up to 37’s when it’s time to buy new tires.

@Badmothertrucker you have weighed this decision carefully? You're ok with weaker front suspension and higher center of gravity for no performance benefits just to be able to be have a taller truck?

According to the shops I spoke to, others that have this set up and BDS it should be a substantial upgrade in both strength and performance. Higher center of gravity is a given but according to my research this should be a solid upgrade.
I was going with the full coilovers with DSC adjusters, kit link below.

Let me know if you think the kit I ordered is still sub par than stock suspension, thanks.

Dude, you have big truck envy for sure. Please post videos of your stronger stock truck blasting the whoops at 60 and jumping 10’ in the air with a lawn dart landing. Dropping off a 6’ ledge and bouncing over VW sized rocks. Because I will agree those things I wouldn’t want to do with my lifted truck. If you can’t, please stop telling everyone how much weaker a lifted truck is. Better CV angles, steering geometry, and room for larger tires are a performance benefit. Not to mention if you run a performance coilover and shocks. Pretty funny more than half the Toyota group a few weeks ago all had diff drops and made Moab look easy while the ICON level group were dragging everywhere they went. Why you say, because they have room for bigger tires and their body is higher off the ground. Not a single one of them broke anything or got hung up on their brackets since they are actually higher than the level guys. If its not for you its not for you, but I’m waiting for the videos.
