Halogens to LED

I have the halogens and would really love the LED’s. If I buy the pair of led headlights is it just an install with the addition of different harness? Easy to do?

Your headlights are LED, but your taillights are not. That being said, I’m curious about what it would take to get the LED taillights.

I've got the 401a, the fog lights are LED only.

I've compared the both trucks side by side and the headlights are completely different.

There are three different headlights from what I have seen. The base has halogen, the 401A has a 4 lens LED, the 402A has a two lens LED. Correct me if I am wrong though.

I have a 2 lens reflector LED, and I was certain as per the attached pic, the 402A had the 4 lens. Can anyone verify?

Well now your making me question myself but if you have halogen I think you must have a base. 401a has four lens led.

And 401a I test drove.

401 has LED
402 has dynamic bending LED

Possibly
The 401a has the 4 led bulbs and the 402a has 2 bulbs but they're the projector ones I believe (with the bend and what not)

Yeah I have the base model (no order, they just had it on the lot driving by lol). I’m not a fan of putting LED bulbs in reflector housing.

If the housing is the same shape, surely I could put the 401a lights in.

Well, after seeing Yeti’s issues it wouldn’t surprise me if they gave you the wrong headlights. I hope that you are able to get the correct ones without much hassle. You shouldn’t have to inspect every inch of a new vehicle to make sure it’s correct. I’m irritated for you.

Still blows my mind why anyone uses halogen on any vehicle now. Even on a base model $50k truck it should be LED

I agree 100%. And why would they do part of a vehicle in LED, but not all? Doesn’t make much sense to me.
