I have a uniden R7 that I’m wanting to hard wire into my tremor. I purchased these two hard wiring kits because I wasn’t sure which one would work best. I was wondering if there are any suggestions on how to run the wire with out drilling any holes. I was wanting to place the detector towards the top of the windshield next to the mirror and maybe tie it in to aux1.

See this post below. You shouldn't have to drill any holes. Wiring it easily ran and hid behind the headliner and trim pieces.

I used a Safe-N-Sound1 hardwire kit. Way more discrete than the large Uniden box for mute/dimming function with the flat button.

I just got a generic hardwire kit from Amazon and used the #6 uplifter to power the whole unit and turn it on or off. Did it at first just to to use an uplifter but now I’ve found it to be quite handy. I also got a mount from Amazon that uses 3m tape to attach a little bracket straight to the windshield up by the passenger visor.

Nice, Do you have a link? I was going to get some LED raptor lights and use a dash cam, and maybe power a subwooder for a few of the switches to try them out :)

If you type hardwire kit for radar in Amazon you’ll find a bunch, they’re all pretty much the same. I did have to modify it a bit for the switches from how they’re intended to be used but it’s pretty self easy to figure out when it’s all in front of you.

If you have any suggestions for a dash cam, i'm actually looking to get one as well. I've never had a dash cam before so i'm not really sure what to look for in them

I picked up one on amazon very inexpensive dashcam just to try it, was only $20 ( sale from $50 ). Works pretty well, decent quality especially for the price. Will be hardwiring it to see if I can get a clean install. Might upgrade to a nicer one next year. I just wanted something to protect myself ( just incase ).

Sample pic, few months ago I snapped this picture from the video on my dashcam before I got my Tremor.
