Hi everyone, just wanted to make a quick introduction. New to the forum and thought I’d quickly share my purchase/experience thus far (still awaiting delivery):

I purchased a 2022 Tremor in Antimatter Blue and it’s equipped with the 401a mid package. In Canada, it sounds like the packages are bundled slightly differently. As for options, I opted to go with quite a few… dual panel moonroof, sliding rear window, work surface, tailgate step, auto start/stop delete. I’ve already purchased a Retrax tonneau cover and will be getting a Linex Bedliner installed prior to taking delivery!

My overall buying experience was quite easy and went fairly smoothly… ended up getting 6% below msrp which I feel is quite good given todays market.

The truck was ordered on Nov 26,2021 and I just found out the build date is scheduled for Feb 14, 2022. I was told it would take approximately 2 weeks to ship the truck after that!

Anyways, just wanted to say hi and hope to gain valuable knowledge on this site!

Congrats! I'm also waiting on a 401a in Ontario. I opted for torsen, b&o sound system, auto start atop delete, dealer installed leather seats, and level kit. I have a build date of Feb 11th, so we should be getting them around the same time!

How much is the bed liner going to be?

Welcome to the Forum

$700 after taxes… I’ve been told by numerous people that line-x is sprayed on much thicker than the factory ford… I figured for $100 more, it was worth it.

Fellow canuk here too, welcome!

You're absolutely right. Had line-x do my old truck and it was worth it. Have you ordered the tonneau cover yet? I'm hoping they aren't backordered like everything else seems to be.

I actually purchased one used locally so I have it sitting in my garage, waiting to be installed!

Welcome to the forum, canuk here too. I paid 550 taxes in for Linex, it covers more area than the OEM liner too. I was also told due to emissions regulations I couldn't remove the auto start, I wonder if my dealer here in Calgary was leing to me. Picked up my 2021 Dec 6th.

Yeh that seems a little bizarre to me as it’s not mandatory to have auto start/stop on all vehicles in AB I presume?! I find that especially in our climate, the start/stop feature is extremely aggravating as it’s constantly turning on/off at intersections.

I believe there are Canadians on this forum that have had the auto S/S deleted, and others that were also told it was against regulation. Seems like a common tactic they use up there to not delete it, not sure why.

I ordered mine with the delete, no issues. That being said my salesman also told me the torsen diff would give me a 4.10 rear end….

My truck that i found on a cam clark lot in calgary had it deleted from factory.

You can also get rid of auto start stop with forscan
This is what I'm going to do. So best practices is Woodridge Ford will lie to you, there's another Ford dealer off the list.

My dealer originally told me it wasn't possible until I called back early December saying I kept reading it was possible, they looked into and got back to me saying I could change it on the order. So glad ot worked out. I've driven a few cars with auto start/stop and its so annoying!

In Ontario also ordered on Oct 09 2021 Atlas blue tremor 402a with torsen,moon roof,tailgate step/auto tail gate,bed spray,interior work surface,partation storage,2k pro power,floor mats

-kept auto start stop as i was told by the dealer that if i remove it they might change starter to a regular instead of the heavy duty like they say with auto start,(not sure how much i believe it)

Build date Jan 10 2022 🤞

Small inconvenience for a better starter then, I'll be picking up a forscan unit.
