2025 AMB Tremor. After having it a week I gotta be honest, kinda disappointed. Less turning radius, ambient lights missing etc… I know first world problems, . It’s My 3rd new F150. 2011 Raptor 6.2, 2019 Raptor 802a, now 2025 Tremor 402a 5.0. Trans failure on raptor, caused the wifeassaurus, and i to go shopping with the intent to trade for an Expedition. The platinum was too flashy for her, now wants the tremor version, and the raptor they had on the lot was sold. I was introduced to the Tremor, wife’s eyes sparkled, when the v8 lit off, and that’s what sold it, including the 0% financing. Here i am. After appropriate floor liners being installed (thanks to this forum), up next, ambient lights. I’ve read nearly all 106 pages on the gen 14 site about the install…in any event, I appreciate those that take the time to share their knowledge/experience. Happy new year.

So coming from a Ram, I didn’t realize I was missing some ambient lighting in the interior, compared to previous years. I’m intrigued. Is this thread what I should be reading to educate myself and decide whether I want to do it? Anyone on here added it and felt it was a worthwhile effort?

What floor liners did you opt for?

The amazon 3W, was hoping for a lil thicker material, but they will do. Much better than the weather tech liners (knock offs)i had in my raptor.

Did you test drive the Expedition Tremor? What did you think? It's something we've been considering for a while. Just can't get pass the new steering wheels and all the controls moving to the screen.

We did not, they only had the platinum. Just like you, had a hard time with the new “electronics”, and the squircile steering wheel. (Saw that name in a forum somewhere). The flip out running boards were also a turn off for her too. That said she wants the sportier tremor expy, and will likely have one this year. She’s had the 2000 expy with a GT custom interior, her favorite body style. Traded in for a 2006 Lincoln Navi, she hated it.

Hopefully Ford listens to the feedback on the Expedition and makes a few updates. The same points keep coming up online and in video reviews, and fixing them could make it a huge hit.

We’ve also been wanting to check out the new Explorer Tremor. It might be a little smaller than what we’re looking for, but it seems to check most of the boxes.

I believe that is a solid truck. We’d go that route too, however we now have 5 granddaughters under 5, that live close. Thus the need for a larger vehicle. Mini vans are not an option.

I took a look at the Tremor Explorer as well recently - one day would love to get one for my wife. I liked it, but hope they do a little more with it to make it pop. Was disappointed it had the dial shifter - I really have come to love the old style console shifter.
