Hello,

I got my order in on November 1st for a 2022 F150 Tremor 402A.

Optioned it in Atlas Blue with moonroof, trailer tow pkg, torsen diff, and B&O sound.

Currently no information from Ford or anyone else other than my order code and priority code (19)

I have x-plan pricing which is about 5k under MSRP from my local dealer. No estimate on delivery or anything else, and based off of what I have seen I dont expect to really hear anything for a few months.

I had a 2019 Ram Rebel 12 previously and traded it earlier this year for a Mercedes AMG GLA. I do not like the little SUV that I am driving right now and have decided to get back into a truck. This seems like the next step up from the Rebel (which was a great truck, and the air suspension will be missed). I also considered the GMC Sierra AT4X that is coming out, but I am not a Chevy fan so...I am not going that route.

Congrats! I'm switching from a 2017 Rebel and agree, it's the next step while still being able to be a truck. And the payload on the Ford is outstanding!!

Never heard of this explant thing before… What is it?

It is special Ford supplier pricing. There are several ways to qualify for it, I qualified through my company others can qualify through Some associations.
I think the formula is 4% off of invoice +250 processing fee. My Tremor (402A) order turned out to be about 4500 off of MSRP.
I expected to have to call around to several dealerships before it was accepted, however the first dealership I asked allowed me to use the X plan pricing.

Sweet. Thanks for the info.

Sorry, didnt put together what you were asking. It is exactly what Stice1 said. Little over $4500 off MSRP on the 402A I ordered. In more normal times you could negotiate for better...but these times aint normal.

I think it’s closer to 1% off. I’m getting about the same truck as you and going through Granger will get it about $1800 cheaper than x plan. Granger is offering at 3% below invoice.

X plan is still a great deal.

Congrats, I too was lucky to find a dealer that would accept the XPlan, they do not have to

I was able to get X plan. I’m pretty sure it is .4% under invoice, so no, definitely not as good as Granger. I’m going to have to request they close that thread so I don’t feel bad about not getting their great pricing:)

Woohoo. Got my VIN today. Build week Jan 17. Looks like I should have my truck some time in Feb probably.

You think you'll miss the coils from the Rebel? For running fast on truck roads seems like coil is probably difficult to beat, no?

I have missed the air suspension from my rebel ever since I got rid of it. Went to a Jeep Gladiator, and it was hands down the worst driving modern vehicle I have ever been behind the wheel of. My AMG Mercedes that I have now is fine, but in typical AMG fashion it is overdamped in the suspension. In conclusion, I am sure, for me, the F150 will be fine, but an air sprung Ram is the most comfortable truck that there is.

Same here. In my opinion, you can't beat a modern 5 link for any off road. I don't do a lot of washboard but that air suspension was outstanding

I was strongly considering Ram (w/o air susp) bc of the coils, I love running truck roads FAST. I was underwhelmed by the power of V8 though kinda a deal breaker.
