I’m looking to get one of these to leave on the inside bed, I would think ideally one that fits before the wheel well hump.

Does anyone have one or recommend a certain size/ brand/ have pics?

Thanks!

This is what I have, it's mounted to my builtright panels. Even with the retrax canister, it fits.

My truck is getting Ceramic coated, when I get it back on Tuesday I'll post pics of my bed setup and it has the hilift.

I can't stand Hi-Lift jacks. The only reason to carry one is if you think you will use it as a winch or to spread something apart. Even then you have to be extremely desperate. If you are looking for just a jack the Pro Eagles are the shiz. Buy once, cry once or maybe a couple of times because you will want more than one.

Those are nice n pricey but I already have a 3 ton jack on wheels and the hi lift design meets the needs and footprint I am looking to dedicate in my bed.

Perfect, that ready to go set is what I’m looking for. Looking forward to hearing your ceramic coat impressions and bed pics, thanks.

This is why I got the hilift - it's really a multiuse tool. The proeagle co2 jack looks great, but $500 is pretty steep for a jack. I'll stick to the stock jack for a flat.

If you are carrying a HiLift, yall must have sliders? What brand?

Don't have sliders, I have the attachment for it to hook on to a wheel or something else, but I carry it mostly to use as a come along and spreader, etc. If I had a flat I'd use the stock jack, looking for an aftermarket for a flat but not something that's $500. You would need real sliders or aftermarket metal bumpers to use the hilift as an offroad jack for tire flats.

Agreed. Carry one on my trail only Jeep, and have only used it 2x in 20+ years, and only once was to lift a vehicle (the other was to make a tie rod to get me off the trail after my knuckle broke).

I can't stand the shape. That said, when solo in a rut or ditch in the middle of nowhere USA, if I don't have it, I'd like that less. I've used mine a half dozen time in the last 6 years. 4 of them could have only been fixed with a high lift.

Its definitely not winning any beauty contest but I figure with all the things we spend hundreds or even thousands more dollars on to me it’s worth the $200 investment w accessories for a proven, quality made American product that can winch, spread, jack, etc.

It’s in my cart and I’m doing it!

Agreed it's my next purchase as well. Between that and a come-a-long I'll be covered till I get a hidden winch.

The plus if you need to do a long pull you can use the hi lift to hold while you move the come-a-long.

Personally I have a cheap hi lift that I have had for years for other uses and they come in handy.

I know you guys don't like buying expensive things for your expensive truck, But this is the FARM JACK replacement. I don't need the super strong power of a hydraulic one and probably would go with a KING screw style.

FYI. I have a Arcan 3ton and also a ProEagle 3 ton. Both Jacks look identical besides, wheels, color, skid plate and some other little things. I just noticed that the Jack Extension on the ProEagle also fits on my Arcan. It does not lock into place when twisting like the ProEagle due to the ProEagle having a little longer prongs but it does fit flush. I believe you can just buy that Lift Pad metal part and the Extension from ProEagle if you were just looking for a Extension for your Arcan Jack. I am not 100% that the Lift Pad metal part from ProEagle will fit but it does look like it. Just have to unscrew that 1 bolt. I know these ProEagles are a little pricey.

Same jack different branding?

I'm going to isolate the costs this forum has created for my budget. The sales tax alone will be enough to get a tax refund, next year.
