High beam as a trigger

Has anyone out there installed any auxiliary lighting and used the high beams as a trigger for their relay to turn the auxiliary lights on with the high beams. I spent several hours yesterday trying to find a wire that would work with the projector beam headlights and so far have been unsuccessful. Any ideas?
