Just picked up my new Iconic Silver Tremor and I’m enjoying all the posts about the upgrades that everyone is doing. I am very curious to understand how everyone is protecting their bed and why. Full spray in lining? Bed mat only? I rarely haul anything beyond a few bags of mulch or an occasional mountain bike myself so I’m not sure the expense of a bed liner is justified for me.

Dealer spray in lining for me. I have had them in the past and they have been bullet proof...hard to go wrong imo. However, I dont have a bed cover like you do

All depends on how you are using it...

My 2016 F150 started out with bedliner (linex) that worked nice, but things slide around and it is hard on the knees. Also purchased the bakflip mx4 rollup tonneau cover.

I then purchased the 90 ish dollar dee-zee rubber mat. It worked well to keep things from sliding around.

I purchased a mtn bike and had to remove the front wheel to fit it under tonnaeu undetected so I bought a bedrug and removed the rubber liner now my bike won't get marred by the bedliner on the sides.

Got sick of having to remove the wheel from the mountain bike every time so I bought a softopper and all is right with the world.

Once I get my Tremor the bedrug will be moved from old f150 along with the softopper, no need for spray in liner for what i use it for. If you look up bedrug they now have a different model that is even more durable on the floor.

Line-x + removable bedrug works well for me.

How difficult is installation of the bed rug?

I went with a company called dual liner, plastic on the walls and a thick rubber mat on the bottom. Good fit and nothing slides around.

I have a Line-X spray in liner (with UV protection), Dee Zee bed mat and BAK MX4 tonneau cover. I had the same setup on my ‘17 XLT and decided to repeat the process with the Tremor. If you go with a spray in liner, I think adding a bed mat is key for all the same reasons @Techguy82 laid out. And as @aka The Dude mentioned, they’re rock solid.

I decided on the DualLiner and I LOVE it, it's a hybrid between a hard plastic (for the sides and the front) and a rubber mat for the bottom. Check it out! The sides use the existing cargo latch bolt to secure the plastic side panels tight so they wont' move around, then there is a channel at the bottom of each side panel to house the rubber mat so it won't slide around.

Bedrug for mine and a Sentry tonneau cover over it.

Appointment scheduled for Bullet Liner on 12/15.

Just had the Line-X sprayed in last week. Looks so good. Lifetime warranty - hard to beat.

Full Bedrug liner in storage waiting for the tremor to be shipped.

bullet spray in liner and rough country bed mat, love the combo and makes bed pretty much indestructible. Bonus of rubber mats is thing do not slide all around

you will love it, make sure they spray between the bed and tailgate, no issues with gate closing on my truck

What is crazy is Bullet Liner is a superior product to Line X and I am getting it for roughly $200 less than Line X.

All you guys are lucky you didn’t get the factory ford spray in, What a POS, super thin and no paint prep at all.

My Linex Dealer is saying that there is 2 different linex products...1 that will fade to grey after time and an upgraded version that he's trying to push me towards. Anyone run into this?
