Controversial.. I know. 22’s on 37’s? Stupid, impractical, blah, blah, blah.

Truth is I didn’t seek out a Tremor specific f-150. I wanted iconic silver with a high-end trim package. The tremor happened to be under MSRP so I grabbed it.

i have seen so many trucks on 18-20’s wheels on 33-35” tires and that’s it. The forums and Facebook groups are riddled with the same questions. I wanted something completely different, so I went with 22’s on 37’s. Is it ideal for off-roading? No, but who actually rides these hard enough to justify a true 17 on 35” or 37”. I’ve had many vehicles built for the trail and not once have I ridden them hard enough for that. Even pretty extreme off-roading this truck would be well suited.

The next thing was the lift. After I bought the truck I purchased the 6” BDS coilover kit and found out shortly after that it wouldn’t fit on the tremor trim f-150’s. I called BDS and they weren’t confident that it would work because they hadn’t tested it before on a tremor.

After watching plenty of TC customs YouTube videos, I reached out to their team and they were able to complete the instal. Note: you will have to remove the stock skid plate to instal this lift kit.

Overall I’m very happy with the truck, it’s someone no one else has which is what I was going for.

Nice ride. It is original and I give you a lot of credit on going through all of that to get it done. That looks like it took a lot of work. I am probably going in the opposite direction in terms of rims and tires. Not sure yet due to the limited parts available but looking at 18" rims just so I have more tire. Will also level. Well if anybody wants to run this set up, they now have all the information and who to reach out to. Again nice ride and cool that you posted.
Saw that you also have a Tesla model S Plaid. That car alone made me lose any interest I had in Porsches and other sports cars. That thing just pretty much kills a lot of other sports cars on the market in terms of just speed lol.

Saw the TC customs video on your truck nick and its an awesome build…congrats truck looks awesome…

Opinions are like…

Let me start over.

As long as you’re happy, that’s all that matters. Sweet truck homie.

I personally think it looks great. In my opinion it looks even better in the video than your pictures but all around a sweet ride. I think if I do anything it will be on an 18" wheel but that 37's on 22's concept is a head turning combo my friend. Well done!

Is that with the 4 or 5 inch rear block in the leaf springs? And the offset on the wheels is?

@Nick that lift looks great!! I’m hoping to get a 4” version once Fox comes out with the Tremor specific kit. Congrats on making it onto TC Customs YouTube channel. You definitely have a unique build… Keep turning heads!!

4” rear block with also 2 sets of wheels, suspension and parts in the bed. It’s a little more squatted than it normally would be.

Yep, all that matters is that you love it. It's unique and will definitely turn heads one way or another!

Congrats, and ohh any chance you can post a few pics of your Plaid? :)

@Nick - Looks like a beast! (y) How's the truck handle with 37s on it? Any additional mods planned?

Impractical.
Stupid.
Takes it out of factory specs.
I love it!
If it makes you smile when you look back at it in a parking lot then its all worth it. Life is short. Get you some 37s of 22s. :D

In all seriousness I watched this vide on YouTube with a lot of interest.
I'm glad to see the 37s fit, but I'm sad to see all the trimming needed. I was hoping that with the lift the crash bars would remain. But oh well. And it looked like the wheel well covers were a little loose after they finished the job. Did they get that squared away?
The removal of the skid plate was a necessary sacrifice. I wonder if they make any after market covers that fit the BDS lift. But at least you don't have to remove it when you change the oil. So there's that.
Can you tell me, now that you have had it for a little while, is there any rubbing at all with the 37s?
And how's the ride with the coil-over compared to the original?

Yeah true, thank you!

Here’s the model S. On 22” staggered Vossens of course.

Honestly I haven’t gotten it back yet. It got picked up yesterday so I’ll know more next week. Yeah the video made it look like the front wheel cover was loose, it’s not. I have seen TC customs cut the front crash bars on a lot of their 35” builds and all 37”. Not a huge factor for me, the rest of the trimming was pretty standard for this kind of instal and I expected it. I will look to have a new skid plate fabricated in the future but not too worried about it.

Not sure yet, I hear it’s great! Getting transported back to CO now, I’ll know more next week! Would love to do a front bumper and light bar, but honestly haven’t seen anything tremor specific yet.

Cool that you had it done at TC. I live like 45 min from their dealership/shop.

Did you notice any change in power?
I am considering 37's as well
Zero change. I love it, think it fits the truck perfectly!
