Alright i worked a hell of a deal on a 2022 Tremor with my requested adds at a payment i am comfortable making. Whew that was stressful even over phone/internet. They tossed in spray in bed liner, wheel well liners, and the Ford all weather mats. I'm not 100% through the full process YET so i wanna hold off on positing prices etc. I'm not below sticker or anything, but the dealers i was talking to before this were all 6-10k over sticker price so i'm stoked. STOKED.

Question i have for now is, do i need to be aware of any Ford Pass incentives/rebates/etc with buying this brand new truck? Back when i bought my 2013 i didn't have to worry about anything like that so i figured i'd ask everyone in the know before i complete pulling the trigger (In case anything needs to be done prior to transaction?)

I've downloaded the app and probably have an account already from my 2013, i'll check it out now.

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. If it's nada that's fine, just lemme know :)

When I ordered there was a $1000 ford rebate but not when I picked it up so didn’t do anything for me but got a dealer credit with custom order.

Don’t get the ESP through them, get it from Seigler or Flood after the fact and you can use your ford pass points towards the already discounted price.

I just asked the dealer, he said they will help me with the Ford Pass app stuff and i get $210 which loads into my account in about 2 weeks?

I logged in via the web portal and it's kind of funky to navigate... frustrating because it says i should have been earning points per service visit at my local dealership but i've never gotten any points even though my truck is registered on the Ford Pass account.

Tried to browse around the website to find rewards too but all i could find was ways to earn points.. hmm

Oh man... called my local dealer i've been working with for 6 years and apparently i used my work e-mail for the dealership and my personal e-mail for the Ford Pass account so they weren't linked. Crap! Now i have to go back and retroactively enter all the invoices and dollar amounts. Anyone know how long it takes Ford to deposit points when doing this? Crap!

And it is done! Walked away paying $30 less per month than I did on my 2013 truck. Super excited! I wasn't ready for how nice the newer Fords are holy crap.

Nice! Take a few pics and post them in tel he truck of the month post! We need an iconic silver to represent.

Thanks! I'll try if i can pry myself away from work the rest of the week haha

Looks great man. I was one the fence about color but I was tired of black. Had them on my old trucks for 15 years and hating seeing every little paint imperfection in it. So far I have zero regrets on my color choice!

Yeah i was on the fence over Silver/White/Blue. This one was fully loaded just like i wanted and the other two were not. Seeing it in person on the lot made my decision a whole lot easier. Silver is gorgeous!

Agreed. I use to always be sad when I walked into the garage and saw the truck was dirty from just sitting there. Now I just sit here and stare at it admiring it.

Also just noticed the truck that loads up on my dash is a blue color instead of silver.. haha is an OTA update gonna fix this at some point?

Ok two small things i've noticed so far.. truck seems to shift a little more rough than i'm used to at takeoff and stopping for a light. My 2013 was super smooth but this 10 speed feels a little more clunky. Does it just need to be driven more and break in a bit?

Also, the doors don't seem to want to fully close unless you shut them really hard. Dropping kids off and picking them up from school every day we have to pay special attention to it because it's easy to THINK it's closed when it isnt. And the only warning when driving down the road is a tiny orange icon at the bottom right of the screen. No chime or anything flashy to show you the door isn't closed wtf haha

I'm getting almost exact same MPG on this 22 as i did in my 2013 FX4 with bigger Nitto Terra Grappler tires. I was hoping to get a little better MPG but i guess with the 33" tires i should be happy with the ~15 i'm averaging from mostly in town driving.

The 10R80 is a learning transmission and will adapt to the way you drive. Then when you change your style it won't shift smooth until it is reset or relearns your style. It's also known to have some weird shifting habits, especially when it's cold. When its not under load it skips gears and tries to act like the old 6 speed. I was not a fan of the 10 speed coming from a 15' to 19'. But now its use to me or I'm use to it. Give it some time. As far as the doors go, try cracking your window when the kids get out. These new trucks and SUV's tight.

Very tight and he was spot on with the transmission, you can get a tune that will make the transmission shift smoother but your mpg is going to be less because the truck doesn't have as many aerodynamic components to it, it has a ton more capabilities though.

Congrats on the new ride! You will love it
Regarding the doors, check the floor mats you installed and make sure not creating the problem at the door sill. I experienced this on my last truck with the factory mats. I switched to some weather techs and the problem was solved. Or maybe you could trim them if not wanting to buy new ones (assuming that’s even the issue) hopefully not something more serious. Just a thought…

Congrats again!

My rear doors were the same way for the first few weeks of owning, they have since eased up, or the kids are used to shutting the door harder! Either way, I don’t have to get out and reset the doors anymore.

They gave me the nicer F150 rubberized floor mats, i'll check them when my wife gets home with the truck. She just went out to pick up our son from an event... her first time driving the truck. Told her to be careful not go fast etc hahah

I hide my keys from my Wife 😀
Jk, but hope it’s an easy fix or will go away after awhile like Chief experienced
