Iconic Silver in person impression

Was at lowes today picking up some goodies and saw a 14th gen iconic silver up close. It must have been freshly washed. When the sun caught it, that thing almost looked chime coated! Seriously though, it was really shiny. Almost to the point I was wondering if he had an aftermarket paint job.

I’m coming from a 2015 ingot silver f150. I’ve heard the iconic is a ‘deeper’ silver. It was truly different.

For all you iconic silver guys, what was your first impression when you got your truck and saw it clean on a bright sunny day?

From what I saw today, that silver will look great matched with the tremor blacks and a round of tint.

While I've never really been a fan of silver vehicles, this one has grown on me. I would have preferred a black, leadfoot, or even stone, intially. After seeing this one and owning it for a few months, I like it a lot more than I thought I would.

My 2019 was Ingot Silver. I think silver trucks need work to make them look good, but ask silver and black trucks with contrast cut wheels can look pretty sweet. Plus it was by far the easiest color ever to keep looking clean.

My preference for vehicle color has always been a dark gray. However, my last 2 vehicles were a black 2018 Raptor and a black 2021 F350. The Raptor was sweet in black, but I opted for silver this time because black is so darn hard to keep clean. They show every speck of dirt and I'm one for hand washing my vehicles. I would never take a $70k+ vehicle through a car wash so I only wash it every few weeks and less in the winter. Having ceramic coating helps, which I will do again with the Tremor. I know silver is the best choice to hide dirt and even scratches, so that's what I went with. I think I'm going to like it. Besides, it will match my hair, which is turning more silver every day
