I took the Tremor for a drive in the country. It’s really amazing to me how the difference in a 32” tire on the Lariat 20” wheel feels like vs a 33” tire on the Tremor 18s.

It feels like the Tremor is squirrelly at highway speed on slightly curved roads.

Love the pictures! You'll definitely notice the difference between the confidence of a street tire and something with more sidewall. If you ever upgrade to E rated tires, that will increase a bit.

You should also check your air pressure. Dealers are notorious for overfilling. I saw plenty of Raptor owners being delivered with 50 psi in the tires when the door sticker clearly stated 38 psi.

I think I'd have to bitchslap someone for that.

Yup, that’s the first thing I did after hitting a few turns on the highway coming back. The app said 43 all around and one 44psi.
I’ll check with a gauge next.

Those grabbers aren’t 10 ply?????

The OE Grabbers are E rated. I'm dropping down to D rated once I get my truck and the suspension debate is worked out so I can fit them.

(y) I thought they surely must be, but the way Yeti’s post read it made me think they might not be.

I wouldn't be so sure. They have two different 275/70R18 this is what comes on the Tremor, not the much heavier E range tire.

Wow! I stand corrected. Interesting tire choice for sure. I didn't even know they had an SL option in that tire and just assumed it was the E rated.

Yeah, based on 30 years of Ford screwing the pooch in regards to how they manage tire choices and pressures, I knew to dig deep on that one. I'll use mine for trailering and get a good/bigger set with wheels for offroad

Funny, if you go to General's site, they don't even list the 2021 F150 as a optional vehicle. They're probably too embarrassed to admit they made an SL for an "off road" truck

Yeah, whomever is running that part of the decision chain needs to be fired. But, weight, ride comfort, looks and cost are all where they need to be to be able to make the statements they do and most people will appreciate the seat of the pants experience because of the choice.

I completely understand what you are saying, but still ridiculous. I’d like to think most people that order a Tremor don’t expect it to ride like a Limited. Guess I’ll be getting another set of Toyo’s sooner than expected.

I was just looking for a reason to put on Toyo AT III 35's and I stumble across this.
