Just deal with your dealership. Ford Chat have no idea where they are in the process even though I mentioned that I'm seeing new trucks arrive with the correct ones.

GERALD: My truck didn't come with the correct Tremor side vent/badges. They are on order but I'm wondering when I can expect them. I see many trucks are being delivered with the correct badges and wonder why these are not being sent to those who had plain black ugly blanks when their Tremor was delivered months ago? Thanks

What a pain in the ass. Sorry you have to go through that.

Im still working with the dealer on having the upfitter switches added in retroactively....Something that should have been there from the start.

Thanks, a First-world problem for sure. I'm having the dealership look into it and I'll find out tomorrow what the plan is.
 
Went to my local dealer. Showed them the email from Ford. They ordered the parts and I am scheduled to have the installed this Thursday.
 
My dealer is worthless too. Nobody knows what I’m talking about. They said they ordered them. That was several weeks ago. When I call for an update they have no idea what I’m talking about.

That’s awesome that you got them so fast I want a couple weeks ago and haven’t heard anything back maybe soon

This whole thing is so stupid. Dealing with these dealers is such a nightmare.

Dealers can make ANYTHING difficult. I went in on 12/23 and they ordered them. Just got a call that they were in and to make a whole day (Monday through Friday only) appointment to install them. I’m thinking I’ll make an appointment and remove the blanks beforehand so they don’t have need an entire day, let alone a work day.

That’s good that at least yours came in, I called yesterday because I ordered mine about the same time that you did, and they said that there is a national backorder and that they won’t actually be available until like January 23 and to call back then shit is so annoying.
 
Got mine taken care of and picked up my truck yesterday. Since it was going to be in service, I had them do an oil change + rotation as well. Service agent said it was the first time they had done this. Once they had the recall code from the email, they were able to map the process pretty well. First time I used this dealers Service department. The sales side of the dealership is full of sharks, but the service side seems pretty professional.

Truck now looks complete; I am happy with how it looks.

Yea and I called ford corporate and they were worthless too. So I’m stuck with this shit dealership.

It’s interesting that mine said there is a back order sorry, but yours just came in timely.

My dealer also said they were on back order at the time so I wasn’t expecting them to show up in 3 weeks. Who knows maybe I just lucked out on that front. The difficult part will be getting them installed.
 
So, confirmed that my dealer has ordered them. Sure enough, on back-order with no ETA. Just like the original truck I need to manage my expectations although these don't prevent me from enjoying the Tremor.

When I called yesterday, they told me that after January 23 is the one they should be available, take that as a grain of salt no idea what that really means. But I’m gonna call them again early February.
 
Heard more from my Customer Support Rep lady than the dealer, still waiting for a response from the dealer....--as far as back ordered goes, it's interesting to me that the badges are VIN specific (AKA they know which ones were built missing them) and somehow the 2023s are coming WITH badges, so is that just a BS line that they're back ordered, or are they putting them on 23s instead of allocating them to already built/sold trucks.

Idk, it's pretty aggravating.
