What's everyone using for floor jacks these days? The handle of my trusty old craftsman broke today and I can't find anyone who makes a replacement part.

I got one from Costco they change models/brands pretty frequently so if you don’t like the one they have wait a few months.

Im running this one. I steer clear of harbor freight 99% of the time, but I needed a high lift and they were the only ones that had one in stock. Years later and it still works like a charm. I always use jackstands of course.

I have a Arcan 3 ton and a ProEagle 3 ton. The ProEagle has that extension if you need one. The ProEagle is pricey. I think somebody posted on another thread here that there is that Cat jack that may be the same as the ProEagle but a lot cheaper. Both jacks work well for me.

I have a super heavy old Craftsman, and a really light Harbor Freight one. Both are 12+ years old and work perfect, and I always use the Harbor Freight one first because it is so much easier to move around and lifts faster, and only use the Craftsman when I need 2 jacks. The HF one was 1/3 the cost of the Craftsman one. Since I use them so infrequently I see no reason to spend more than HF. If I used them daily then I would likely take a different route.

Yeah my Craftsman jack is a 3 ton weighs almost as much and works great until the end of the handle broke off. I can't lower the truck because the square hole is no longer there. I'm gonna try to have it welded but I doubt it'll be doable. If I could find an old handle that fits I'd be all set.

I've heard really good things about the harbor freight jacks. My brother has had one for years with zero issues. My old michelin one needs replacing, I'm leaning towards the Harbor Freight myself.

Idk how it broke, but when an old one I had did, I just drilled a hole in it and put a bolt through it. Works perfectly to this day.
