2025 Tremor
Hi all,
I have a 2025 Tremor with 5.0. I've had 2 occasions while driving the truck it will make a humming/dragging noise and then it goes away after about 1-2 miles. I thought I was dragging an animal but it abruptly stopped. Then yesterday there was a humming noise sounded like a tire going flat but all tires were fine. Anyone else experience this?

I'm wondering if this is the IWE issue that seems common on some of these. You can search for info about that on here or on the F150Forum, there is tons of information out there about it.

My IWE went out on my '24. We could feel a vibration in the gas pedal and the driver's floorboard, but nowhere else.

Di Ford replace it under warranty?
Yes, the truck is a 2024 and was less than a year old.
Ford will fix anything under within the bumper to bumper warranty period.
Plus, I bought 10yr 100K Ford extended warranty from Grainger, so I expect everything fixed for 10 years.

Thanks. I looked into extended warranties and Granger seems to be the way to go.

IWE issue; I got it. Awaiting replacement parts (it's Montana so NOTHING is stocked at the dealership... the ONE dealership for a zillion miles). Only concerned about off-roading (but still doing it anyway) as mine only gets noisy when it's in 4WD. Thought the 35's were rubbing all the sudden but it's the IWE and front axle, allegedly from the IWE failing to full engage(?) at low temps. I got low temps here for a while to come.

What year is your Tremor? Best of luck with the replacement.

EIWE failure. Bring it into the dealer. Should get you in and out in a jiffy.

It's a '24. And thanks, the parts came in yesterday when I was in the mountains. Scheduling the repair today.

Also, my driver and passenger windows are acting up! The auto close and open are bouncing and not closing and when opening they get real slow. Got new guides coming in for them, as well. I don't think it's the cold: It's colder in NYC than here (all week) but they have been a PITA when we're in the mountains and you have to open the window for a moment, which turns into an event trying to get the freakin thing closed after a lot of bouncing up and back.

Dealer looked at it today and it's the IWEs. Parts are on order.

Been noticing a similar noise. Seems to be only on the frint driver's side, most noticeable under 15 mph within the first couple of miles.

That's it!

Good to know, thank you! And thank God I followed the awesome members here who suggested picking up the extended warranty!
